There's no one more weak willed than I am when it comes to the nasties.. I have to get rid of them or I'm in there with the least excuse. That's why I set myself a spend on an E-cig that I could justify to myself ie x spend on e-cig would be x weeks worth of nasties.. It's a great feeling to be past that mark, I feel that's an achievement on it's own for me.

I started on a 12mg juice that wasn't strong enough to get me over the 10 nasties I would have for breakfast.. now have 24mg cart's filled for the cravings and fall back on the 12mg for the rest of the day.

The moral of the story is "if I can do it any body can"... and in fact I can honestly say .. I am enjoying vaping far more than I was smoking.

Good luck ..stick in there you CAN do it.

I still have my baccy tin with enough for a couple of rollys it sits on my window and altho I have never had one since my first e-cig arrived it will remain there until I am ready to bin it but its no temptation as I couldnt roll fruits and puddings #icon_rofl# #icon_rofl#

Well after several long phone calls with the fitted bedroom company I still have not succumbed. Tempted but not given in. Don't like the taste anyway and know it is just a habit to go for a cig when stressed. However Rita Riva (First cousin twice removed of Robin) has been doing sterling service

I initially kept my baccy, I had four full ones and some in a tin, by christmas I was confident enough to give the unopened packets away, by about march I gave away the remaining papers, filters and what was left in the tin, whilst moving recently I found another unopened packet and gave it away. I think with time your confidence grows and know it has no hold on you anymore #icon_thumbsup#

BC like many previous posters I still have my last packet of fags, still in the cellophane, in the cupboard with my vaping gear. Not as an emergency supply, but as a reminder that when I started vaping I actually forgot to smoke cigs.

I put my last box of amber leaf on display in the lounge, still with cellophane on, I've had one rollie out of it, (Mia had drained my battery ) anyways each morning I have this ritual where I stick two fingers up at the box of amber leaf and then smile

I found that puffing on a strong menthol first and last thing helped.
I smoked 30 a day for the past 25 years and for the last 5 year I had been paying only £1.75 for 20 as I travel allot with work so I am not saving any money. But I feel much better.
I had 18 weeds in a box. The first 2 days I had 1 every day then none.
Yes it was hard but stuck with it.
On day 6 I thought I will have a nice cup of coffee and a proper tab.
I lit it up and oh my god it was the worst thing I had ever tasted and was nearly sick.
I gave the rest to my mate and never thought I would say this but I will never smoke the weed again.
I have since converted my mate to E-Cigs and he is on 1 month now and no tabs.
I used a strong Menthol for 4 weeks then found new flavors.
When I get the strong urge I puff on my menthol for about 10 mins and that gets rid of it.
Just keep up at your own pace and you will get there for sure.
