Another newbie with an e- lite

Hi All,

After being told how good the e- lites are, I rushed to Morrisons and bought one - I havnt had a cigerette for 3/4 days now.

I hooked on vaping, but as usuall rushed in without doing all the proper reseach !!

I had to buy several packs of the elites tips (are these known as Carts ????) and its was proving expensive, so I now have a 30ml bottle of e - liquid.

How do i refill the e-lites tips - do I pop the end and just drop some drops in ??

Is it worth me doing this untill the tips are not working any more or should I buy a new e cig now!!

Next question, what should I buy, whats the most ecomical way to go.

Hello, welcome and well done!

The e lites tips are cartos (also called cartomisers). I haven't refilled them myself but I believe you refill them that way, as with most cartomisers. I'm sure there will be an instruction video on YouTube!

Regardin whether to upgrade now or later - it's up to you really, but when you do decide to upgrade a Riva or eGo style is probably going to be most people's recommendation (for example the Riva 1100 or Vape Escape 900 kits on vapeescape.co.uk) With cartomisers (try low resistance and standard resistance).

Neil. Firstly, congrats on swapping to vaping. Secondly, to refil the elites cartos pop the white top off and you'll see a centre tube surrounded by white wadding. Drip the ejuice into the wadding, avoiding the centre hole, til it looks like a slushy. You should be able to re-fil each one several times over.
In terms of buying a new e-cig, the elites and other cig-alikes suffer from very poor battery life, as I'm sure you're finding. The main reason to upgrade will be to give you all-day vaping

Agrees with Pada & Oneday - refill the e-lite cartomisers you have already bought & also look into getting a better e-cig like the Riva/ego

I started on disposables and an e-lite kit myself (Ive passed the kit on now). You should be able to refill the cartos a few times using oneday`s advice.

When you feel you are ready to upgrade just ask away.

My habit was 20 - 30 roll up per day, usually amber leaf or golden v.

Personally speaking for longer life on your battery you would be better getting a Riva kit from Vapourhut or Vape Escape.......... both have discount codes and to tell you the truth are much better than the cig-a-likes, have a look and see what you think

Hi Neil, well done on making the switch. As you are already discovering we can find many ways to spend your money! It really is worth investing in something like a Riva though with either cartomisers or Vision eGo's you will find a big improvement on your existing kit and they should last you for ages. If you browse through the recommended suppliers list (and the discount codes list!) at the top of the Suppliers section on here you will find that many offer packages of this type.
