I have filled my old carts with fluval but to be honest I am not getting the taste of the juice through,I used 8mg Strawberry which tastes fab in the clearo but all I am getting is loads of vape and no taste I can identify. Think I will have to scrap them and start using the new cartos I have got, I hate waste GRRR

Fluval, as in the fishtank filter sponges?! ??? Yes..It's an old way of renewing the filler material in cartridges along with other options teabag paper etc.. Much harder to do with a carts and I have no idea how it was done in this instance. In all honesty you would be better off cleaning your carts with steam Phoenix instead of replacing the filler..

Ah right ok!
And if you insit on using fish filters (assuming its the white stuff not coloured sponges like nitrate removers, phosphate removers etc) then you can buy pond filter foam which is cheaper than sponges, or a box of fish for life (i think) pads. There cheaper than the brand names and have a higher density! They definatly hold more fish waste than the name brands do so the same should (???) be true for e-juice!!

Phoenix, do you mean you are filling carts (cartridges) as used with atomisers? Or cartos as in cartomisers?

Cartridges Chrissie, bought a bag of the stuff from Paradise Vape pre cut, so I would assume it is the correct thing to use. I had amassed a few carts forgot what was in them , so i removed the old filling and replaced with fluval.
Actually the flavour is coming through now, think perhaps it was just the first juice filling that took time to be absorbed by the fluval, but they are all ok now, 20 new carts for 1.20 not bad value. #icon_dance#

x x x Sorry, for the newbies it is just a sponge type material that you fill cartridges with if the old filling has worn out/gone off whatever.

Why do you think it is harder with carts macca, just remove filling and replace with fluval..... simples I did that but I was not happy with the results and on reuse the flavour was just not there.

I still use Fluval in my Mega Atomiser Carts that I use for work Phoenix . . . it's much better than the original wadding that carts come with and you can wash and reuse the sponge very easily.

The pre cut stuff from paradise vapes is the blue sponge? If so then I use that in the carts in my bulli A2, works great. Doesn't need to bed in though

I think the confusion here is due to some members getting confudled with carts & cartos - & no wonder. Lol what a difference an "O" makes As Phoenix & others have said, Fluavl is used as a replacement stuffing for cartridges (carts) that you use with atomisers
