Have I done something wrong ?

Hi,

Just loaded up my Ego T with some liquid to test the flavour and I get a really burnt rubbery taste.

Doesnt seem right to me.

I tried the ego T system and I was uninpressed with the rubbery/plastic taste

Try some boge cartos or one of the stardust thingies

Thought it was the liquid but Ive tried all 4 that ive just received and get the same results.

Hope a boge is a straight fit cause I have only got a clearomiser thing otherwise and thats saturated in another liquid.

Yep the boge should be fine, that's what I use on my ego-T battery, the battery is just the same as any other ego really, lol

tanks are full of other liquid and I just wanted to test the flavours.

Just holding the carto with the hole facing the sky so no leagage occurs.

I started a new CE2 last night and it also had a rubbery taste but after a wash and dry brun today its gone I;m wondering if its the juice with the new rubbery bits or just that I need to wash them before first use. I just debridged an old atty for testing new flavours because I hated having to wait for an empty clearo to wash fill and rewash lol

Or stick your finger over the hole. Have you used the ego T before? Was it ok then?

The ego-t style atomizers have a primer liquid in them that can take a little while to clear through. That can taste quite bad. I normally drip some e-liquid directly into the atomizer where the spike is. Then blow it out through the battery connector to remove as much primer as possible.

Another tip is to rotate the plastic tank 180 degrees once it is on the atomizers. When the spike in the atomizer first pierces the plastic cap on the tank, it can make a flap that blocks the spike.

I have those ego T tanks too and not had any rubbery hits.....Do what steve has said and make sure you push the tank in all the way

I havent used my Ego T this way until now. I had always used a clearomiser on it and that was fine. Didnt get round to using the plastic filler things

Ive just cleaned out a tank and stuck that on with some new liquid in so I will see how that goes

I used to only use ego-t atomizers when I started. No two were ever the same. I had one that would not break in even after three days of trying. It tasted horrid and had a really tight draw. In the end I filled it with RY4 and left it for a week. When I retried it, it worked perfectly. That turned out to be the best atomizer I'd used and lasted well over a month before it started to wimp out.

I think I will stick to my Provari and just fill a tank and hope I like it
