DH decided that we should cancel Sky sports for 3 months as some football thing was finished. As usual it was up to me to sort out. somehow during the phone conversation I managed to cancel our whole Sky TV package so, we were due to be cut off next week and i have been a bit bl**dy minded about it and refused to phone back and cancel our cancellation. So, Sky just phoned us and offered us the full entertainment package and full sports package for £20 a month for a year, result

I should really get on to Virgin and see if I can batter down our costs. We've got the XL TV, free evening and weekend calls (never use the bloody phone), and broadband. Costs about £60 per month and we've been with them for years! Should get a ruddy loyalty discount

Sky are relativity easy to bargain down. You need to get to the disconection dept in Scotland, then you say you want to cancel your package, if they don't offer you anything good enough, go ahead and cancel, they always ring you back before the month is ended, if they don't, at the worst they will ring you back very shortly after it goes off. I don't really care if we lose it for a while, so I play very hard ball I only have the basic package, but rarely pay more than half price.

WTG Karma. I'd give it a go, but I'd lose my phone and broadband too.

Downside is, my braodband is mega slow here Was never the fastest before, but I could watch vttv etc, here, it takes an age to load a pic, have to leave it unplugged for 10 days for them to speed it up, if they dont do a better job I will have to go elsewhere.
