my question is has anyone had any issues with the LT (mini or full) using the smoktech dc tanks and them not firing? i was watching a video and the guy said he couldnt get them or the stone tanks to fire. my mini should be here any day now an i love the dct's and so wanna know if that his was an isolated incident or a common occurance

I bought a 3 1/2ml DCT ( not sure if it`s smoktech or not) on the last GB to give them a try as i`d never had one before and on my LT i need to use a 510 to 510 adapter to get in to work,
I`m using health cabin pre punched carts at the minute with the flange thingy at the bottom and just put it down to using those.

If they are 1.5 ohm versions, your LT will really struggle above 3.3 volts and possibly not fire to your satisfaction anyway..

there is not really anything to be gained by using a DCC or LR carto on a LT. Best just to use standard risistance then you can play about with the volts! save you DCCs and LRs for your Argento

is it worth goin for the 3ohms or just the normal 2ohm? i watched a pbusardo video and it showed what the carts could handle before the LT limited it and higher ohms have a wider range of voltage. have i just answered my own question ???

LT and the Provari V1 never handled dual coil cartos very well because of the current limitation..Not many people were happy with them if I read the various messages posted around the forums correctly..
I don't use cartos or tanks at all so I have no experience of them at all..I am sure someone will be along to share their experience with you..

I think you answered your own question higher resistance on a vv gives you more control so go for the 3 ohm . Or stick to lower voltage with lr cartos

I got some 2ohm flanged cartos on a gb , much better than the 1.5 ohm supplied with my tank when I got it . Then I got some visions and my tank set up has rarely been used , although I find the tanks brilliant when on a long drive

Same here colli , although I think I'll be going back to the V1's as long as there is a supply , the V2's for me wick TOO well and flood the coil. Nothing to do with the silicone cap inside either. Never had the problem with the V1
