I've just done a swapsie of some stuff with karma & she very kindly included this...........I can't seem to work out how I connect it to my Riva batteries................Do I need an adaptor?...............

no chris it should just screw on your battery but you won have the collar like with the visions

no chris it should just screw on your battery but you won have the collar like with the visions Silly me........... ...................you're quite correct violet................the only thing is, I've read somewhere on here, that I may need to file down the end of the VH-Stone because it may damage the battery if not.......................can anyone confirm this............it has a bit protruding from the end that screws into the battery...........

not sure about the stone but I know the vivi nova v1's needed the center post filed down I'll try to find a pic so you can see why

ooooooooo now I see what you mean hopefully someone will come along and tell you that its fine or what to do here is a video of the stone looks like his center pin is down a bit too so I dont know

It looks like it's sticking out quite a bit. The stone is a bit like a big CE2, so maybe you can push it back up by pressing down on a hard surface (maybe with the top off).
Having a long centre pit isn't too bad so long as you don't overtighten, though it may be a bit wobbly on top of your Riva.

TBH I only used it once and I can't remember which battery it was on, defo a 510 and I didn't have to file it or do anything to get it to work

you only need to file them down if you dont get a good conection . If it works and does not give you any problems than leave well alone

I watched a video on you tube & it showed one filed down, before and after, but I'm not sure whether that applies to the one I have.............. You center post is sticking way out..It'll push the center pin on your battery inwards causing all sorts of problems if you tighten that.. Ideally you need to file that down so that the center post just about sticks out say about 0.5mm.
