All seems ok.
My advise would be to buy a couple of pre-mixed juices and try..They are hardly about 5-6 euro. Your mixing liquids will not got bad and have a shelf life of at least 2 years so you have plenty of time to use them.

Sometimes it's best to walk before you run a couple of ego/riva bateries, some boge 510 cartos and some pick an mix ready made e-juice. then move onto mixing your own and trying out diferent tanks etc

Your mixing liquids will not got bad and have a shelf life of at least 2 years so you have plenty of time to use them. I'll attempt mixing up one more batch with less nic and more VG (and probably will add some waater as well, otherwise i think it'll be too thick), and if the same issue is present I'll indeed end up ordering some pre-mixed juice. I'm not affraid that they go bad, it is just that it annoys me that after my second e-cig order I still can't have a good vaping experience Out of interest what flavouring were you using? 90% Raspberry with a few drops of menthol (the remaining, i.e. 10%). I have a dozen of other flavours, but I didn't have the opportunity to try them out yet. Also got some boge 510 cartos (among others) from my last order The only thing I don't have currently is the pre made juice

Hello & welcome Anoregami As others have said, it might be best if you tried some premixed juice - at least that way, we can try & help you rule things out that are going wrong.

Hello Chrissie Fine, I can order a few bottles of e-juice, but then what brands would you recommend me to try? Also are pre-made e-juices offered in various proportions of PG/VG? thank you

Yes I do live in France, but I don't mind ordering from a British website as long as delivery is not too pricey. I'll check those juices, thank you.

Follow a simple process of elimination. I will assume the juice is the problem - if it's an equipment issue then only a premade juice test will reveal it. I have no experience of mixing liquids, but based on what I have read and simple logic this is the process I would follow to find the most likely source of the problem. Do this with small quantities to avoid wastage. 1. Mix some juice with no nicotine - just mix some PG/VG with 1 flavouring. Maybe use less flavouring than you think you need, it doesn't matter if the flavour is weak, your main concern is getting a vape without the bad taste you are experiencing. If doing this gives you an ok vape then the most likely problem is the nic juice - steeping juices is neccessary to properly mix them, but from what I have read, this applies only to juice with nicotine content. 2. If step 1 resulted in a good vape, try adding nicotine to the next mix... if this causes a bad vape, it's likely that the problem is your juices need to steep. Steeping can be speeded up by lightly warming the juice for about an hour or so (place juice bottle in a dish of warm water or some place which gets warm but not hot) - try the juice again after an hour or so. 3. If step 1 produced a bad vape, try a no nic mix with only PG and flavouring to eliminate any issues with the VG. You can do the same with VG only but would need to thin it first. 4. If you still get a bad vape with no nic mixes, try vaping PG without any flavouring. Hopefully somewhere in the course of that process you should identify the component which is causing problems. Incidentally, you really should have some bare atomisers and a drip tip to do this and for testing any juices you make in future... it is going to be both costly and annoying to keep trying different mixes using cartos, clearos or any other container. Good luck with your testing

I tried mixing up another e-juice sample, with each respective ingredient as follows (each expressed in ml):
water: 4 nicotine @ 72mg/ml: 7 PG: 10 VG: 11 mint flavour concentrate: 1 raspberry flavour concentrate: 7
bottom line: that's way better !
So perhaps that was either my previous preparation that was not quite good enough or the previous carto/clearos that were faulty?

Probably a mixture of things.
BTW it is easier to premix the water and VG (15-20%) rather than try and add it separately.

..still could be the flavourings. Are they branded or just food flavours?
Some flavourings contain oil and/or sugar which could be the cause of the problem. ???

Good luck with your testing I have loads of spare parts now, but only a few bare attos (with no stuffing). However, I have no drip tip. Otherwise you mean that I should put directly 2 or 3 drops on the atto with no cartridge? There is not risk of burnt taste in vaping this way? If so, then yes that's probably more convenient and appropriate for rapid testing than filling entirely a whole cartridge and cleaning it up in-between each test. Without mentioning, as you pointed it out, wastage of juice. thank you Probably a mixture of things. BTW it is easier to premix the water and VG (15-20%) rather than try and add it separately. Basically I should do it in 2 steps: - first mix up solely VG and water - then add the rest, and stir everything together? ..still could be the flavourings. Are they branded or just food flavours? Some flavourings contain oil and/or sugar which could be the cause of the problem. ??? I got them from totally wicked UK, so I guess they were specifically made for e-juices

No, just prethin the VG with water and use it as a single ingredient.
It doesn't matter which order you add it, it's just easier to get it to the right viscosity by mixing it in bulk.
