I received my Eco Traveller this morning - excellent service as ordered on Sunday. www.oksmokey.com/store/product.php?id=626The kit is of very good quality and the case is perfect for carrying around without worrying about the atties firing up - it only takes a moment to put the Eco together. From a woman's point of view the Eco is not in the least 'blokish'; in fact it's very good looking with just the right amount of weight to it. The quality of the components is excellent and, from a personal viewpoint, is more comfortable in the hand than it's counterparts. It is not a 'clone' of the Tornegoriva etc., devices as it has a different look about it. The battery is ergonmically shaped so that it sits nicely in the hand and the button is positive (no wobbles). The case is of very good quality and the mouldings hold everything securely in place. An extra atomizer can be accommodated inside the cone. I shall keep the 10ml bottle that came in the kit as other, similar sized bottles won't fit into the moulding provided and the only other 'extra' that may be needed is a mains adapter for the usb charger. The cone is not compatible with similar devices as it is smaller and rounder in shape but otherwise everything else is interchangeable with other 510 units. I chose the 'jet black' version and really do like the silver findings, the OKS logo and the snazzy little blue light at the base of the battery. A big thumbs-up from me! Fox

Thanks for the review Foxy I assume that's OKS's version of the soon-to-arrive Slim Jym - good to know that James will have a Foxy-approved "bit batt mod" in his armoury. scylla

Dang, I didn't see you there, honest When I saw your name just now I thought I was in for a "Sorry scylla, you've got it wrong again" in the nicest possible way Most of George's pics are too small and un-detailed, and as we've said before, his site could do with "rationalising" to make it quicker and easier to make selections. scylla

Dat's da kiddy - well done James for choosing a very nice model. There are some very good photos of the Traveller Kit in a review on the OKS forum but you have to be registered there to take a look. I like the concave band around the top of the battery, the curve of my index finger fits nicely into that while my thumb is on the button. The performance is terrific as it is with the other, similar devices when the batteries are new. I'm hoping that these batteries will be equal to their counterparts in respect of longevity. The addition of the super case is a big bonus as I generally take two units about with me and one of my Tornadoes was very hot when I took it out of my bum bag after a cycle at the weekend. The touchy button was obviously pressing against summat else in the bag - I could have been jet-propelled from Herts to Essex. Fox

Lol Scylla I guessed you had missed my post due to going off & checking Foxy's link. And yes, I agree, George's site could do with a bit of "rationalising". I was about to say he didn't seem to be selling the batteries for his Eco but they are listed under the Eco kits. Lol Foxy

Fox This switch protector will address the issue Foxy. www.ivapour.co.uk/janty-ego/janty-ego-spares/janty-ego-switch-protector.htmlOne doesn't have to remove it to operate the button ... Just slip it back off the button area ...

@ygb666 - that's a very good little gadget and much needed. I wonder if it would fit the curvy waistline of the ECO/Jym model. Fox

At only £1.20 it's got to be worth checking out Foxy Especially as you have a Tornado that you could use it on anyway
