GGTS is winging its way to me

After a pretty much constant re-fresh on the classifieds today, I managed to bag a GGTS and I cant wait for it to fall through the letterbox

Did you manage to nab an odysseus too?
One big tip with the SS GGTS is that steel is not as good a conductor of electricity as ally or brass or nickel so to get the absolute best from it I would recommend a Kick

No it's not, you need an ody to ggts base or a stealth cap

Later this month it will all be re-stocked by all accounts, I need an ody to ggts base as well but I have a couple of stealth caps

Yep, that sounds about right, no one has stock anywhere at the mo. You'll understand why you want it when your GGTS comes

There's one on UKV up for sale now but big money wanted by the seller - 350 euros> Sounds a lot when hopefully a new one will come your way for a lot less when they're in stock

two small 510-510s
or if you remove the top cap from the collector section and screw a 510-ego to the base of the ody and then screw it all into the 510 on the ggts it will allow the base of the ody to sit flush against the top and let you use the airflow control
The battery connector pin in the collector tank will bring up any slack once the telescope has been wound down

Ah..maybe that's why my GGTB isn't doing the business. It's stainless steel.
