Im tempted to get the SD Mk2 as its at a great price currently (thanks Karma).
The thing is, how do I go about using an adapter to use C4+/stardusts on it. Do I need to get 2 different types to allow room for the skirting or can I get away with a 901-510 adapter? ???

Azzie I haven't got a SD so can't talk from experience, but if it was me I'd get a 901-510 and also a 510-510. That way if you do need extra length for skirted ego fittings like stardusts you'll have it

it would be quite a tall connection Keep bumping this up, I got some great advice, the 901 - 808 is tiny but just lifts it a small bit so you get a nice neat fit. The only reason I'm not being 100% confident with the advice I originally gave you is that I remember being really confused by the end of the conversation when I asked. I can assure you though that whatever I have works a treat and is a great fit. I think I got advice from Chrissie, Tetsab and Dave and perhaps a couple of other people, so I'm sure someone will be along soon to help

I agree with karma. The neatest way I have found to attach a skirted 'miser to the SD is to use a 901-808 adaptor then add to that a 901/808 - 510 adaptor. That gives you just enough height. A 910 - 510 is not high enough and if you extend it with a 510 - 510 it will work but give a bigger gap. You can see a picture of them all here: www.healthcabin.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1094_1095&products_id=7850That is also the cheapest place to get them as long as you are not in a hurry! Many UK vendors do them as well - you just have to check who has what in stock.

Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it. After trawling through old posts , the ECF & UKvapours forums and checking with suppliers the info concurrs with using the 901/801-510 and 901-510 to allow room or use a 901 - Ego (which I could only find @lf in the UK, but out of stock). I had a hard time trying to find both these adapters so after checking LF (which didnt show them in stock) I emailed them to see when they would be back in. I got a mail a little while later saying that they had 1 each left of 901/808D to eGo Adapter & 901 to 510 adapters I could have if I wanted. To cut a long story short I should have a 901/808D to eGo for stardusts and a 901 to 510 for cartos. Big thumbs up for LF I ordered a Black SD Mk2 with an extra battery and a spare button thingy (as recommended by karma ) which has been dispatched already. So I hope thats cracked it , just looking forward to my new toy

Im really happy with it Karma. I need to get some LR cartos for it, all I have at the moment are SR stuff, - I think to get the best out of it. Overall I'm really chuffed. I know its the mass produced cousin of the mk1, but it feels like its a good quality product. Been an expensive month by me trying to buy stuff in advance, but the month is almost up -yay!

Yes azzie, another pay day soon It does lr cartos really well, but I don't think it's too bad with sr ones! I know it's mass produced but it does feel like it will last. I bought a couple of spare switches for mine as they were really cheap and I can't see that anything else can go wrong with it really. i'm pleased with mine too

Just thought I'd pass on a couple of things to you Azzie, although you may have worked them out for yourself! As the switch is only held in by a screw, it's a good idea to make sure it's tightened up as it can come loose Also, it's very tempting to put your batteries in the wrong way round, as this would be the right way in other mods. Always worth checking if you're scratching your head wondering why your getting such a c*ap vape with a newly charged battery I've just discovered these things over the past couple of days
