All the various devices I've had have been robust enough to take our mt biking and I've dropped plenty of them. A Tornado fell out of my pocket and bounced along a tow path and was completely unscathed; however, I did once drop a Riva that landed business side down on a concrete floor. Unfortunately on that occasion I broke something at the connection end of the battery and despite attempts at revival, it was an ex-Riva from that moment on. The connection end is the weakest link and provided that is protected, all should be well.

Hi Oneday, Mr GJ has had all the stitches out and although his fingers have healed pretty well they are still stiff and sore.

He has to keep a Mallet splint on the ring finger for 4 weeks to give the tendon a chance to heal. then it's physiotherapy time...other than that it's driving him nuts not being able to work, or get on with his DIY jobs.
