I am fairly certain it's a 5400 HDD...Seagate Barracuda in 2 TB capacity did not exist in 2010 when the GoFlex came to the market....I think 7200 rpm is only avaialble on GoFlex Pro drives which were released later..But it's still a very good deal

Another alternative with USB3 is the one linked below....Hitachi drives are also very good..

I fancied that one because it states that it can be used on its side. Dithered, now it's out of stock

It's interesting to see suppliers that I've never heard of. I'm not adventurous in that respect, tend to stick to eBay, eBuyer, Amazon.

Maybe we could have a list of trusted suppliers who are not as well known to non-techies as the big boys are?
