For those that dry burn their visions:
Do you rinse them again after dry burning?

No need des, if you dry burn properly then the wick will be pure white again. Just give them a bit more time for the juice to soak in

Dry burning means to keep firing your clearo without any juice till such time as you see the coils glow..
It gets rid of caramalised gunk built up near the coil area which will make the wicks inefficient..It's a way of extending the life of your clearos..

Just a little note on washing out the clearos, DO NOT PUT INTO BOILING WATER. I put that in capitals as a friend (and yes they are still a friend) borrowed some of my stardusts and thought it would be a good idear to clean them before giving them back to me. Well what can I say, they melted. What she did was to have a pan of boiling water on the stove, and then dunk the stardusts into the water for a little while. I now have a bag of spare bits as they are well and truly unsuable, it looks a bit like modern art lol
She is getting me some new ones to replace the melted mess I got in a bag back. She managed to melt 4 of them in one go, so much so that on one of them the center post id welded to the outer plastic. what a nightmare lol
This can go down in the books of what not to do along with Chris and his plugging an LT into a Riva charger to get the battery charged lol

Well I dry burnt them after a good clean and did a gentle scrape of the coils as well, refilled and it's working great again #icon_thumbsup#

I am surprised you go to such lengths to clean the Visions Des..
Isn't it quicker, easier and better to just put a new coil in?

TBH macca it's just about time, I can put them in to soak while I work, then dry burn while I sit and watch telly. I have loads of them as well probably 20 + so I could bin them but I am just a bit tight I plan to rewick my Ego vision as it looks a lot easier to do than the Visions. Also it's the lighting the evening, I find it hard to see what I'm doing, so that's another tick for prolonging the Visions with a clean and dry burn.
