Hi guys, newbie here! Finding this site SO informative! I already bought my first e-cig through a £10 deal on group-on. It's the Freedom LTD1 and came with an extra 10 refills. www.freedomcigarettes.com/electronic-cigarette-store/starter-kits/ltd1-original-style/Is ok, does the job! It makes an annoying whistling sound when you take a drag but thats my only complaint! Thing is I lost the e-cig (doh!) but I still have loads of cartridges/refills and the charger. I emailed asking if it's possible to just buy the e-cig replacement but of course it's not. So... My question is... do you know another/better brand that is compatible with the LTD1 parts? www.freedomcigarettes.com/electronic-cigarette-storeOR is it best to just start again? I like the slim, cigarette looking models. I'm not a heavy smoker, I've been looking at the 510 mini. It's all a bit over whelming though! Thanks for any advice! Great forum!

welcome lilov! Ive looked on their site and it seems they do sell batteries www.freedomcigarettes.com/electronic-cigarette-store/accessoriesSeem a little steep at £9.99 each, assuming will buy 2 incase you miss place one again!! Ive only been vaping for like 20 days so you will get more knowledgable advice from others but ill add my thoughts anyway! For cig-a-likes, my mate has a Sky Cig kit, which works out at £12 with the discount code. These have the 510 threads so you can buy boge/kanger etc cartomisers and use them with ejuice which will save a lot on buying Sky Cig replacements. I went straight for a Riva Kit from Vapeescape www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-ve-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151 which I know a lot of other new vaporists(?) did as well. I think it is awesome, and much better than the Sky Cig & E-Lites (there the only 2 cig-a-likes ive tried) however, they are a lot larger. More like cigar sized e-cigs but each battery last me more than 2 days without needing charge. Im not sure which exact model you mean by 510 mini as a good search throws up quite a few different ones such as this www.joyetech.com/product/510.php. As I said I dont have any expericance with these so someelse will no doubt take over and explain more about these compaired to others!

Hello & welcome Lilov Blimey where you bought from is expensive - £11.99 for a replacement atomiser From looking at the atomiser, I think it's an M401 model. If I was you, I'd cut my losses & buy a complete new kit with a 510 thread. Plus you need a kit with 2 batteries - one to vape with while the other is on charge. When you say you are not a heavy smoker, how many do you smoke a day? Rich, a 510 mini is any ciggie sized with a 510 thread

The Skycig complete kit is still available for £11.99 using coupon code quit38 www.skycig.co.uk/sky-cig-kitEdit to add: it's a 510 kit so you can use other 510 cartos on it, and the cartos it comes with are re-fillable so no need to pay through the nose for repalcement ones

Lilov, if you go for that Skycig deal (it really is a bargain @ £11.99), you will then be able to easily buy spares for it from much cheaper & better suppliers, as it has a 510 thread. So don't buy anything extra from them, just the starter kit using the discount code in Ondayillquit's post. Edit to add - I didn't see oneday's edit before I posted

Wow thanks for all the quick replies and welcomes! Yes I see now I could get a battery and atomizer from the freedom site, that's already £20! Ridiculous. May as well buy the kit again for an extra £4.99. I only really smoke when i'm tired, stressed or drinking really! Probably averages 1 or 2 a day. When I had my e-cig I was just having maybe 3-5 puffs 1-3 times a day. I have a wedding this wkend so I know i'll want one for then! May buy a disposable while im making my mind up. Sorry any confusion - I'm still getting used to the e-cig lingo!! What do you mean by a 510 thread? Does that mean the parts are the same? Refillable sounds good... i'd like to try some fruity flavours yum! Looks like the 510 is poss the one for me I'll check out the Skycig deal now... thanks again!

with regards to the 510 you are correct. It means if something is 510 it will screw onto the skycig battery!

That Skycig is a good deal! Is it the £49.99 kit for £11.99? Where/when do I put the voucher code in? The vanilla sounds yummy! Would I be better off getting some vanilla liquid instead of these pricey refills? I'm so glad I found this forum because I felt like a loner in the e-cig world, my mates think im mad! they don't know what they're missing
