I thought mine was faulty and IT IS NOT! They work differently to the old style Lavatubes. When you put the battery in or change the battery it switches to Power Off mode and the power button needs 5 clicks to turn it on BEFORE YOU CAN VAPE. Alex kindly phoned me when I had problems after receiving mine today and it was ME that was the problem! Although I am apparently not the only Doofus in the village Here's the instructions from the Vapourhut website: "To turn the device on/off simply press the power button 5 times. To check the resistance of the atomiser simply press the power button once whilst the device is power, this will then show you the resistance, after a few seconds it will then cycle to a second screen showing you the current voltage the device is set at. To increase/decrease the voltage simply press the + button to increase and - button to decrease. When you first insert a battery in the device, the unit will flash 3 times, it will now remain in a powered off state untill you press the power button 5 times to turn it on"Hope this helps.

Took me a while to work that out as well! Having fun trying different voltages. The resistance readings seem a bit erratic tho'. Just put a vh-star(stardust/vision ego) on it and it said 7.5! Settled down after a few seconds tho. Also, Does anybody know if the batteries are protected or not? They'll be replaced by imr's eventually but it would be good to know if they're usable in a screwdriver/mini argento.

I've just popped in a screwdriver battery and that's working fine. It's slightly shorter than the mini argento battery

Is there a silk printed code on the battery supplied with the mini-LT?

It just says ICR18350 900mah 3.7v. It does have a slight lip at the positive end. No branding on it. (Blue in colour).
