I've got five CE2 clearomisers XL size, after using two I'm still undecided. One has worked fine out of the packet however the second one just kept leaking into the mouth piece. After taking it apart, (my first successful fiddly project, yipee) cleaning and dry burning it, it's now back in one piece and working fine.
What I would like to know is how much maintenance is involved with these, how often they need cleaning and if there are any known issues. I like them when they are behaving but if it's going to be faffing, faffing and more faffing maybe not.

Kruegerbait, I can not answer your questinon, because after my first try with them I found that it tasted of burning rubber, and no matter what I did that was all I could taste from them. I have now just put them into my box of bits for any mods or spares I need. Am sure someone will get back to you and tell you all about them

how often they need cleaning and dry burning will depend on they type of juice you use and how gunked up they get CE2's have a tendency to accumulate condensation in the top which could explain why you are getting this in the mouth ..using a drip tip with a larger hole will help or you could just flick it out from time to time some times you may get issues with wicking and dry hits ...there are a few things you can do to alleviate this like fluffing up the wicks or enlarging the gaps in the silicone seal but you dont seem to have that issue

Usually I find them very good but the last ones I bought, well the first out of the packet actually, because the other four are unopened, was useless and wimpy Suppose its like everything, always one bad egg.

I've had a few dry hits and it tastes pretty weird, I'm not sure if it's what Batty may have experienced but a quick tilt to distribute the liquid seems to solve the problem. Thanks for the tips Gordy, I've changed the drip tip and it has helped with the condensation. I think the second clearo was dodgy, a lot of the liquid had leaked out overnight. Now on my third and it's working fine.

Any atty of these types will need a tilt here and there to keep the wicks moist, glad you seem to be getting on better with them now

I love the CE2 clearo's Krueger . . . they still remain one of my favourite vaping widgets. Though, I do always ' tank ' the innards and they generally last me a good month on average, some a bit longer/less. If you're interested Clockworks will make you tanks, with or without filling holes for them, these are the last ones he made me for the standard size clearo innards.

At the risk of sounding like a Carry On film, that's a great pair of tanks you've got there Perpetua. I've not used tanks yet so I have no idea what you do with them but it's good to hear I haven't bought something rubbish. I'm actually getting on with them now, vaping all day without any problems. I'll do a little research on tanks for when my PayPal account tops back up, you've got me interested now.

Looks great Sej, he does do a very nice job does Clockworks. I've always been delighted with anything I've bought from him. Why tank you Krueger. If you need pointing in Clockworks direction, just shout . . . glad to hear it's going better for you.
