So i am new to vaping and currently have an e lite (not the best i know!) but have been off the real smokes for 2 weeks. I'd like to get something better where i can chose from more flavours/strengths and i know the slim ones are not as good as the bigger battery models but am not really comfortable with an e cig that looks bigger. Any thoughts on the best slim/mini model to try. Thanks in advance, Sam

Hi Sam and welcome, you've come to the right place for great advice. A lot of us started on e-lites, skycigs or similar, and the overwhelming advice will be to go for something bigger for better battery life and more choice. However, this kit is a good compromise between a cig-alike and something like the ego or riva format www.vapeescape.co.uk/boge-innokin-510-t-mini-tank~221

There is the innoken aio, but im confused over the types of batteries. One is a 510 and the other 808, which is better?
There is all the jacvapour pcc. I would like something cig alike for when im out and about, and not sure which to invest in.

Sam the 510 and 808 refer to different types of screw thread on top of the battery. 510 is the most common, and so gives you the best alternatives for expanding/updating your kit

samstew. The only one I've tried is the Skycig one. www.skycig.co.uk. And it is currently very cheap. It's a bargain if you use the quit38 discount code , you get 2 510 batteries, 5 prefilled cartomisers and a PCC (Personal Charger Case) for about £12. Thats less than 2 packs of fags. It is not a bargain without the discount. You can refill the cartridges a few times without too much trouble, then move on and buy some Boge 510 empty cartridges and juice which works out much cheaper than than Skycig prefilled replacements. The Boge cartos are slightly longer and wider than the originals but fit the batteries AND still fit in the Skycig PPC. I can't vouch for any others but this forum will very quickly give other, and better, choices, but they will cost a bit more. It's up to you.

Hello & welcome Samstew The biggest draw back with the ciggie lookalikes is the battery life between charges. Out of interest, how many real cigs did you smoke a day?

I'm tempted by the skycigs at £16 compared to 30+ for other similar products. As I just want something for a night out, out and about...and use pass through or larger batteries when at home.
The draw back with the skycig, is that I'd like a black battery with a blue led (personal preference), where could I get this type of battery? an automatic, black with blue led would fit the bill. Then I could carry it in the skycigs case.

SG1, it might be better if you start a thread of your own, otherwise Sam might get even more confused as to what we are recommending for her

thanks guys, i already had a look at the one on vapeescape and i think i'll get that when my e lite cartridges stop working, i'm refilling them at the moment. Battery life not too big a deal for me at the moment as i mainly work from home so can always have one on charge. I know the bigger batteries are better, but i think i'd feel too conspicuous out and about with one....silly I know....

Sam, I think you would soon get very used to the size of a Riva - it's about the size of a cigar. If you go for one of the lighter coloured ones, rather than black (the stainless steel one looks very smart) it would look less conspicuous Plus it's better not to have on that looks like a real ciggie so that folk don't mistake it for one & think you are smoking in places you shouldn't be.

@ chrissie, was on roll ups, less than a small pack per day, did have a bit of transition withdrawal when i first went onto e lites but i got through it so now i guess i'm used to less nicotine, want to stop completely really, but very very slowly as i don't need the extra stress of nicotine withdrawal in my life right now!

I have this for when its needed and its not a bad little kit but more expensive, anyone getting it buy a second battery so there is always one charged.
