Over the past few days I've been dabbling with a selection (more of a random assortment) of flavours. I had no vodka to dilute VG with, but recalled I have an assortment of Irish Whiskey miniatures. Wow! I made up a totally ad-hoc mix, of 24mg Rum (pre-made, but wanted 12mg) thinned down with PG, some DK tobacco flavour, Vanilla Cream flavour, Cappuccino flavour. Added the Nicotine PG mix and thought I needed some of the VG which I'd thinned with whiskey. The whiskey cream taste is very evident, and other bits and pieces are coming through. It might be even better tomorrow.

I was going to say Farz, an Irish man out of whiskey, that aint going to happen. I have not been in any house over there that does not have at lease one bottoe of whiskey hidden around the place. Even one that did not drink, had a bottle tucked away. Which part of Ireland are you from?

Sounds lovely Farzooks . . . I've heard of folks using Gin to thin their VG down, but whiskey is a new one to me.

batty - I'm a blow-in, from Scotland, but much prefer the Irish flavour of whiskey. The particular whiskey I used was part of a sample set of miniatures - Greenore, Kilbeggan, Tyrconnell and Connemara - I used the Greenore, which, according to the blurb is "the only bottling of a single grain Irish Whiskey... predominately made from corn". It's quite yummy in a vape. @perp - I've got three others to try and a full bottle of Scotch As I suspected, it's improved overnight - been using it all day.

I was wondering...if you add alcohol to e liquid mixes, do you get same effect as from drinking...I am thinking it wouldnt be enough to make you feel drunk, but then again as it is vaped, maybe more alcohol gets into the blood stream?

I was wondering...if you add alcohol to e liquid mixes, do you get same effect as from drinking...I am thinking it wouldnt be enough to make you feel drunk, but then again as it is vaped, maybe more alcohol gets into the blood stream? I have done a teeny weeny bit of reaserch into this very subject. The inhalation of alcohol will get you drunk quicker and with a lot less volume than if you drank it. The absorbsion of the alcohol through the lungs puts it directly into the blood stream, and with a total absorbsion of about 85 - 100 % depending on how long you held the vape in your lungs. There are commercial devices that are sold that will atomise the alcohol through the use of an untrasonic mister, it is then inhaled with a measured amount of pure O 2. These devices are digitally controlled so that the user is only capable of taking so much in during a rolling time period, and a total amount in any given 24 hr period. So to answer your question yes vaping alcohol is worse than drinking, but it is used in such small quantities that it would give you less of a kick than the Nic. If it is not a desired outcome then I would suggest that warming the prospective alcohol liquid up to around 85 Deg C for a period of roughly 10 min per CC of liquid, and keep it stired to allow for the evaperation of the alcohol but not the vlavour. that said, a lot of drinks flavours are made up with the alcohol as part of it, so you will loose something from it in doing this. That is about all I have looked up lol

Sorry but have to question this..I am certain vaping ethanol direct is completely different to inhaling it.
C2H5OH will change chemical composition at vaping temperatures and will no longer be ethanol as far as I know.
May be a chemist or someone who has access to a breathalyzer can test by vaping some alcohol and confirm.

The vaping temperature is the temperature at which it boils, so I would expect most of it comes through unharmed.
