For anyone who's as confused as I am about the differences between the Tornado (eGo, Riva) and the EGO (ECO/Slim Jym), here are a couple of photos : The Tornado is on the left complete with a mega Cartomizer (not to be confused with a mega cartridge); on the right is the ECO with cone and mega (double sized) cartomizer. The cone on the ECO will not fit the Tornado and it's clones as the fitting is larger. Here are comparisons between the Tornado (left) and ECO batteries. The Tornado's large cartomizer will not fit over the larger connection on the ECO. Above is the Riva; almost identical to the Tornado but with gold trim and a blue button light. Hope that helps. Fox

No trouble at all Scylla. I would hate potential users to avoid the original Tornado (eGo) because they read anything we've said about the 'new style' version - they are easy to tell apart so, if concerned, go for the Tornado style. By the way, I bought the two Tornado batteries last March - still going strong! The Riva seems to be equally reliable and is slightly more powerful. The only niggle I have with the Riva (from Liberty Flights) is that the 'gold' rubs off the band and base and looks a bit scruffy after a while but it performs very well. Penny

Have you tried the whopping cartomizers Kenny? They're even more beesier kneesier! (I've added a pic of the Riva for comparison). Fox

Fox Not yet Foxy I'm quite happy with the old fashioned carts and juice at the mo and have enough juice to do me for at least a year. If I needed anything I would probably get some to try out of curiosity but can't see me needing anything for some time as I have loads of hardware as well. Now if there was a definite ban then I might order another years worth from the sales that would likely occur and get some then. Glad you like them and can recommend. Ken.
