Charge Time?

Hi all, the postie brought my Desay/Ego vision kit today, i have one batt plugged into charge on the computer, it turned green after 30mins of charge,How long should i give the first initial charge of the battery? and is the ego 1100 battery compatable with all 510 items like cones and clearomizers ?

I believe the batteries come with a certain amount of charge in them, so it should be ok once the light turns green. It'll probably need a longer charge once you've run it down

Thanks chrisjw i just noticed that they also sent me a free cartomizer it says low resistance on it is this ok ? its because of all the stuff i have read over the past few days its got me confused again ???

You'll be fine with a low resistance carto on that battery Tmax and as Chris says, your batteries come with a factory charge, so once the light had gone green . . . you're good to go!

Thank you Perpetua im using 1 of the clearomisers on it just now with the free 10ml of tobacco flavour, it can definetly replace the stinks i really like the vision, but the tobacco flavour is not very nice.Got the throat hit i was after but its a bit stronger than i thought it would be.maybe i would be better with 8mg rather than the 18mg ???.Going to order cherry or apple later, a cone and some more cartomisers lol im hooked already.overall this is 1 of the best things ever i know i can do without smokes when i have this,If i had this during chemo+radio it would have been a lot easier..And thanks to everyone for all the great advice its very much appreciated

Hi Tmax. I too found 18mg too high, and have settled quite nicely on 12mg. Don't jump right down to 8mg until you are sure that'll satisfy your cravings. I tried 8mg and it's ok for chain vaping, but didn't keep my cravings under control.

Hi Tmax, I would advise on letting the liquid steep for a while, this would mean putting it in a dark cupboard with the lid off for a few days then trying it again, also the clearomisers, depending on which one you have may take an hour or so to start working at their best.

Thanks everyone i stuck with it all day today was just like changing ciggie brands got used to it quickly,Havent had a normal cig since yesterday and thats really a big deal for me.If i feel the need for a cig i turn to the ego now and have just a few draws,kibbutzangel i havent seen 12mg at all need to look harder,Was thinking 10mg of a drop may be too much.All in all..delighted Thanks to all on this forum what a great bunch of ppl!

I have to admit, I don't feel like I have stopped smoking, almost as if I have cheated somehow ( it was far too easy). My daughter and son in law just gave up smoking too ( without an ecig ).

I can't do that Ive tried and tried. I am just so glad I'm not smoking real ones anymore.

I'll ditto that tmax...............Just been through that myself & hadn't discovered vaping until after
