no taste today

i dont know what the heck is going on today but i cant taste any juices at all, everything just tastes of nothing fresh air ive tried a few different juices but its useless theres nothing there i can smell the vape but cant taste it im not a happy bunny does anybody know whats going on

Tastebud holiday Debb my hubby is the same today so he's on the mint which tastes normal if you have a menthol or mint give that a go you should return to normal in a couple of days so don't worry as it happens to us all

It happened to me around the two week mark aswell. Don't worry it usually only lasts a day or so. Like violetblade said, menthol was the only juice I could taste.

Buy some menthol crystals from Boots, then you can dissolve a couple in your juice in a clearo on days when you need it

Hey. It's happened to me today too! Major bummer. Also around the two week mark for me, or maybe a little more. I posted on the e-cigarette forum, but mainly all I got was, 'Drink loads of water,' which is pretty obvious and doesn't work.

Do you think it could be an allergy? Apart from the loss of taste, I feel fine - no congestion in sinus, not particularly phlegmy, throat's fine.

Worse thing is, I just got a bunch of new juices in the post today. Argh!

Kruegarbait - you say it happened to you too...so, how long did it last and has it happened to you since?

I can still taste a little, but not enough to really enjoy my PV....it's like vaping through a handful of cotton wool.....is it like that for you too, Debb? And has anything improved in recent hours?

Kinda makes me worry about vaping...

booblay there's absolutely no need to worry, and it won't be an alergy. Our tastebuds go through a 'waking up' process after smoking, and it can play havoc with them for a while. Things we loved can taste horrid, or vice versa, or taste just goes altogether for a day or two.

Nope, I'm afraid. At least not for me. I was only a casual smoker before getting into vaping. Odd couple of fags while drinking. My taste buds were just fine. I think this is all about the vaping for me.

Its doing my head in to be honest I've also got some new juices and most of them I ordered extra flavour in them as the taste was going a few days ago but today its gone completly really can't taste a thing and yes its abit like vapeing through cotton wool I'm not sure if it could be because I'm only vapeing 12 mg nic instead of the 18 mg - 20 mg I was having before I have no idea

It stinks, doesn't it? This evening in work I was stuffing my face with cakes because my juices just weren't doing it for me. So can taste food fine, and smell stuff. How about you?

I've tried decongestants and antihistamines....and actually, my taste buds have improved..slightly.

I'm thinking allergy. Last night, after pulling the stuffing out of a boge carto (wanted to try direct dripping) I vaped a bit of pure VG juice. Tasted like arse to be honest. Next morning and my taste has gone....maybe it's the VG..? I usually only vape PG or mostly PG juices.

God, I am dying for a food tasty vape.

I feel like a faulty computer.

How long have you been vaping, and have you done anything different recently that might've triggered it?

It's been happening to me too this week Debs and I think we are about the same length of vaping, I've been throwing cartos away and moaning about my nova, but I think my taste buds are just a bit haywire this week. From what others said, it should settle down soon
