Vision Rainbow leak

Yesterday I filled up a new vision rainbow used it for an hour or so then the postie turned up with my viva
When I unscrewed it I noticed there was a pool of juice in the battery, I cleaned it out thinking I must have got some juice down the middle when filling it.
I had left it standing upright on the work top but I just went to move it and it's sat in a pool of juice completely empty.

Any ideas why this as happened please.....is it sortable or a bin it job ???

Is the base of the tank cracked?

It doesn't look like there's any crack in the tank.

Where did you get it from? I had a lot that were like that, think it was a dodgy batch, I got them from Callum. Healthevape, bless him he is sending some more

I've cleaned it out, filled it with just water and left it standing, it is slowly emptying out from underneath somewhere

Most likely, tube is cracked at the joint where it thins to accommodate the bottom compression collar and is hidden from view..

If it leaks the same place as mine, it is via the bottom middle bit which actually makes the contact with the battery contact plate. I've checked and double checked every components and there is no visible defect or damage, but somehow it leaks via the air-hole sides, and I have no idea why. I thought I was just filling it badly, or the shakes it gets living in my pocket was sending fluid down it - I still have one unused one and I shall test that one, but from what our dear friend Google says this seems very common, and it is such a shame as they're very good.

However, with good advice and I'm going to try the CE5 wickless ones

The older versions do tend to condensate, but this is a blobule of juice right on top of the battery connection plate (the shiny gold round bit).

We'll just have to wait for Pixie-Juice to develop her 30ml cartomiser

I have various problems with some of mine. But a huge globule of juice is one of them . Has anyone tried the wick less. Let me know what you think At the moi am using a rebuild able. I like it but it is a juice monkey

I think its an issue with a poorly fitting silicone seal around the centre connection pin. I agree you may get some condensation down the centre tube, but that would not account for a tank emptying itself.
