Sober I should get some much straighter coils and all a bit neater, I have just embarked on the Blakey special, a 5mm at the cermamic end and 3mm down the sides, will report back shortly......

Have to admit something..... it's not funny...... don't laugh.... promise? Well here goes, it turns out I was building it with the wrong wire the wrong way round  I presumed (the mother of all f ups starts with "I presumed") the thicker wire were the legs, by fluke I did it correctly the first time, second time round I didn't... Just rebuilt it and it is smoking really well, lesson learnt, wine vs Penelope = failure on an epic scale, good news is that I have a large vaping session before bed  Now, you promised not to laugh  |

You might want to consider this method from Imeo (the guy who created the Penelope): Much better way of grounding the device correctly if you ask me. |

Have to say I've wound/connected the wire as per Hifi did on his VVTV unboxing/setting up show.
I've not had a problem with leakage because of it.

I decided to leave any more rebuilds until I have all that wick you suggested, I have the 1mm wick and I see what you mean about the ifference between the Imeo stuff and the stuff I ordered from Liberty Flights. Hopefully I will get the wire tomorrow and the rest of the wick, then I shall give the monster build a go  |

That 2mm wick that cigeliquid does is very good wick, you'll notice the difference when you fill with cocomel  |
