I have a TrustFire TR-001 and in just using it, it has already developed a fault. Thankfully it can easily be rectified by some soldering. From reading around of the forum and other places on the internet, the selection of chargers seem to vary drasticly in price, quality and function. What I want to know is out of these three, what are the Pro's and Con's of each one, Prefferably from your own experiances with them as we can all speculate that the cheap one will be rubbish and the expensive one good. but sometimes the cheap one wins out as it is easily replaced for a few quid. The ones I have been looking at are these TrustFire TR-001 priced at £5.61 XTAR WP2 II priced at £11.88 XTAR WP6 II Priced at £22.53 Pila IBC Priced at £39.95 Comments please

Also to add to the mix, I bought a 4sevens charger, supposed to be about as good as a PILA, but only has one bay, which is fine for me. It's done a great job and I can leave it on as long as I like and it doesn't overcharge.

I like the "leave it on as long as I like and it doesn't overcharge" bit but the single slot could be an issue for me as I use them to charge up the bike lights also (they use an 18650) so would really need a minimum of 2 slots. How much was the 4severns one Womble and where did you get it from? If it is cheap enough I might get a few lol

That one does look good and says it has Algorithm charging system (CC/CV). but do you have to stand over it and take the batteried out once they are done?

No, I leave mine on all night. Once it's charged it goes to trickle mode

It does sound good. What is the difference between the pila and the Xtar then to warren such a price difference?

The Pila's have actually come down quite a bit in price since I started vaping Batty, they were closer to £50+ depending on where you could obtain them from. The technical explanation of the differences, I'll leave to someone more able than me.

Another thumbs up for the XTAR WP2. The fast charge mode is great. Also, handy to be able to recharge my mobile from an 18650 if there is a power cut.

Another vote from me for the X-tar II after trying about 3 different chargers less than £13 delivered off of Fleabay.

That does sound a good option when you have a power hungry phone and are stuck on public transport. Think I might be getting both the Xtar chargers. and it will still come out cheaper than the Pilla
