Hi all , just wondering how many of you have considered trying to start an online vapeing store weather it be just juice or whatever ,?, I must admit the thought is crossing my mind but I have no experience in things like this and would like to know what is involved How much time would need to be given to such a business And do all the juice suppliers mix all their own stuff ?

I'm sure that quite a few of us have thought about it - after all, how hard can it be?
Reality though is somewhat different, and I would imagine that a good level of experience and knowledge would be needed so as to be able to answer your customer's questions clearly and correctly.
As I'm a pessimist, and because our 'illustrious' government has seen fit to stick it's nose in, I would steer clear of starting one until the new year, after the MHRA have made their noises. It wouldn't be wise to have a pile of stock, and nobody to sell to because it's become unlawful to do so...

Best to ask someone who's done it successfully chill. It would need a considerably high initial outlay, you'd need a good, reputable wholesale supplier, a vast knowledge of all things e cig related, or know someone who does to be able to answer customer questions, a website designer, you'd be self employed, so there'd be taxes etc ... and that would only be the tip of the iceberg. There's no way I'd want to do it!

To do it well . . . it will almost take over your life, look at the hours Vendors spend on here and other forums.
That's before they start advising customer's either by email or phone, then there's the packing of orders, ordering stock . . . being ahead of the game and getting in goodies that no one else has to create a niche market for yourself.
I had my own business for 20 years, whilst it's an experience I'm glad to have had ( I think ) it's not one that I'd care to repeat, that's without all that's going on in the ecig world.
It does concern me, the number of new Vendors coming onto the market . . . .

There is an awful lot to consider & to do it properly, it will be very time consuming. For starters, you will need to be online almost 24/7 to answer emails. You will also have to deal with customers that aren't members of forums, so haven't a clue how to use the kits/parts they buy. Plus you will have to build in the cost of returns/replacements from either faulty goods or user error. Above all though, to compete & be successful, your website must be clear & concise, without any spelling/grammatical mistakes - hence one of the many reasons why I'd be hopeless

There seems to be so many sites set up, with varying levels of quality, Does it need to be high quality? For me to spend my cash there yes, but obviously not for others. I've seen several websites where the sites are poorly & cheaply designed, stock is very limited and mostly consists of items that have bad reviews and yet these places sell stuff. Maybe there is enough money made from newbies who don't know better places to shop.
It is tempting & seems almost like an easy & fun way to make money, but probably not if you want it to last and want to provide good service. As others have said its risky because of what may happen with future laws.
My only tip is spelling etc..I won't buy from any business that can't spell, with computers these days, there really is no excuse for a website full of errors, it looks very unprofessional

Reading between the lines, regarding your responses to my business brainwave, I can see a lot of you are going to be disappointed, as I'm not really ready to commence interviews for a partner at this early stage of the venture.............................
