Well it's all useful stuff goes through a few subjects wicks are the important bit, but goes into ways of stopping silicon from burning in ce2s and a few other things, it's worth reading it all, might just save u a lot of pain and suffering later in life

The bit I read in that post was that the forum was basically protecting itself from any sort of law suit that could be put on them for using instructions about moding that could hurt someone. The thing thatggets me is that it goes on about a minimum of a double protection system for the batteries where all of the bought ones I've seen only have a single protection.

I agree with the statement about protecting themselves, but they do have a lot of valid points as with wicks and there nature and effects of use, that's not to say its perfect what is at the same time, if people have read it they can still make there own choice as to what they want to use, but are aware of the possible long term health effects of them

So it might take an hour or two to read it, but in the long run if it informs you more so you can make your own choices then I think it's worth it, personally I didn't get past page 30, but I might go finish it off at some point

Not read this yet but really can the risks be anymore harmful than smoking ??? Well surely the point of vaping is to change to a healthier habit than smoking, not much point if ur filling your lungs with Fiberglass and other things that will end up maybe killing you or making you very I'll, At the very least, and I personally stopped smoking because of my lungs so I'd rather not do something just as dangerous, but hey that's just me, knowledge is power the power of choice what u do with it is up to you,

It's not that thread that's about wicks, it the one linked to on page 27 or thereabouts - it's 110 pages long . I read a few pages and they are on about bamboo for wicks, now, I'm a spinner and dyer, so I come across the undyed fibre and yarn a lot, Bamboo is a rayon ( synthetic made from bamboo cellulose) and is pretty environmentally unfriendly in manufacture, so I'd be fairly wary about it TBH. cotton seems doable, but I'd use organic unbleached

Yea bamboo I'd not bother with tbh the cotton may be the best idea, but I also liked the idea of hypodermic wick ends rather than silver wire, I think whatever you use there will be some problem or other, cotton is prob the least hazardous, until someone comes up with a better solution I'd prob go for that,

so...had the asbestos, had organophosphate posioning, got a CF mutation, got a arthritis gene hlab27.....smoked for 17 years, now I vape. Apart from the odd mod going wrong and a few battery explosions (again mods), I've not heard of many ill consequences, safety first by all means, iron out any issues. I've hit the stage now that if I'm alive tomorrow morning, then woo! It's an awful long read, any summarises here?

When I was a kid we had some temporary classrooms made of asbestos. We used to scrape holes in the asbestos panels to get to the fibreglass insulation and use it as itching powder. Between playing with mercury blobs, stealing potassium from the lab to drop in water, making chlorine bombs, and needing a proper dissecting kit, complete with scalpels, to chop up actual animals in biology I don't know how we made it past puberty.
