Cam is supposed to be getting more Penelope ceramics in this week Ellen, I'll keep my eyes peeled and get some if I can . . . there's normally a maximum of 3 per customer, but you're very welcome to one if you don't get to buy any yourself.

I am using it, it's just I don't know how to make it less airy now and I don't know how much it will fall apart if I make another coil

I'm going to give re-building the Penelope a miss until the weekend, my fingers are so sore after screwing and making wicks for the past 2 days

I think I know what the problems are with it:

when you put the nut in the ceramic, the centre post seems to be protruding over the nut, I dont think that it is supposed to do that.......... someone correct me if I am wrong

again with the centre post........... it does not seem long enough to connect to the provari when it is assembled........... I think it may be due to first prob, again correct me if this is not the case.

regarding the wick, I think the humidity is affecting it, my hands are very warm these past few days, I've been dipping them in cold water to cool them down and drying throughly, but when coiling, the wick is basically "unravelling" when handled. I've tried re-creating the nice wick I first done........ but not been able to do it.

I am definately not going to let it beat me, but I think I should leave Penelope alone until I'm less frazzled or if I amat the point of dispair take up a very kind offer to construct it for me

I think that's probably a wise decision Esme, even though you've been itching to get her going. One thought from me... if I understood correctly you did initially build a coil that fired, but you couldn't get vapour after you put the mouthpiece and tank on? If that's the case, after filling her did you unscrew the mouthpiece a half turn or so to open up the juice control?

Anyhow - rest, relax, come at her fresh another day when you're ready

Do you live anywhere near me in london esme? I'll happily meet you somewhere and build that penelope for you, I could then take you through the whole thing step by step and explain the hows and whys, understanding the engineering gives you a whole new outlook on it.

Sounds like a plan Esme, there's no doubt there is a learning curve to rebuildables.
Especially if you're not of technical persuasion, like myself.

Don't give up, one way or another you'll be vaping on your Penelope in the very near future.

Ordered wick from sites suggested here and with the new ceramic I WILL get Penelope vaping like a steam train. I've yet to fully appreciate or experience her #icon_hopeless#
