LOL..... I'm new to all this as well raggy. The wire sellers quote the resistance, so I made this little spreadsheet to help me. Just put the resistance per metre in the yellow cell and it'll calculate the wire length you need.

Just wanted to add that I made a coil yesterday using 48mm of 0.16 resistance wire based on the spreadsheet, but it came out at 2.7ohms for some reason?

thats very handy (i think) oneday.
it will be a whole new ball game for me.
ive had a good look at blakeys pics and it seems relatively simple
i just dont really get this ohm malarkey.
i will i imagine just want to vape at between 3.8 and 4.2, no higher i wouldnt think as the taste disappears for me and you just seem to burn juice for the sake of it, a bit like having 2 fags on the go at once.
i know it will be a month ( have too clear the provari from the card first) stock allowing.
what would you guys say is a years supply of wire etc, plus i would get a couple of ceramics and plastic bit.

Ragjoy don't even go there unless you want to, I don't, it would do my head in. What you can do is make your first coil, if you like the vape, do the same next time, if you don't then all you need do is a turn less or more till you get just what you like and keep to that

Well raggy 10m of resistance wire and 10m of NR wire will probably do in the region of 200 wicks, so that should last you a while! Your biggest problem is going to be getting a Penelope as GG in the UK has sold out - I don't know if they are getting any more in the near future?

when you say near future, does that mean weeks, months or many months.
im in no rush for one but i really like the principle and look of it.
surely if there that popular you would be knocking them out by the thousand but maybe they are and they just sell quick.
the thing is there is no point having a great product and not being able to supply it as very shortly there will be another gadget as good but cheaper and youve missed the bus.
when you look at it its quite a simple idea really , im sure the likes of trog or arry could make these fairly easily if they chose too.
i doubt there is any patent on these as it takes years to achieve a full patent in various countries.

It is always the same problem with GG stuff raggy. Imeo said he has made 2500 Penelopes and they have all gone out to the vendors. Who knows when he will make any more

No doubt there are still a few still sculling about - I'm sure the UK vendor will have a few for vapefest.

Just a quick question

Does it take a few days for Penelope to settle to a nice even vape....... or does it depend on what % of VG/PG is used.

Nothing wrong with her honestly........... its just I swopped to one of the Virgin Vapours VG only sample bottles and it seems a lot easier on the throat than say a 50/50 PG/VG I usually use.

VG tends to be lot smoother with a lesser throat hit.

If you switch back 50/50 the throat hitting will resume..

I'd think it'll be your only opportunity for months of getting one, unless you're prepared to pay a daft price on a Classified somewhere.

i would really appreciate it perpy if you could
id thought it was just something that was out of stock for a few weeks or so.
id be a proper vapourer (is that a word) then what with my chrome provari on the bottom of it.

We'll do our best then Raggy, can't make any promises but I'm sure the combined forces of AAEC might persuade Cam to sell us one, assuming he has any left of course.

That's the thing with any GG stuff, even when Imeo makes 2,500 of something, you have to grab it when it's there, else you'll not likely see it in stock for months again.

Mind you, you're a proper vapourer even without one.
