Ahhh. See, you were all proper fag smokers before vaping came along and swept you off your feet like a sexy prince. Me, I was a social rollie smoker, so spent bugger all. Vaping though - have spent LOADS so far. In fact, the amount I've spent on trying crap juices and clearomisers and a V2 starter kit, I might as well have gotten a provari and penelope...these things we must learn, eh? But totally agree with you all - this vaping lark I am passionate about and don't mind spending all the money on...what else am I gonna spend it on? Shoes? No ta. part of me has often thought that I should have gone straight for a Provari, but, it's a learning curve, has been fun along the way - hind sight is a wonderful thing if you have it before hand That's why I decided to jump ahead and get the Penelope, so much already spent on cartos & clearos etc. I'm happy with my twist, but wasn't blown away by it like most of the reviews I saw before I bought it. But I think that's just down to my personal preference, I only seem to want to Vape between about 3.8 and (occasionally) 4.2 but I won't be buying any other batteries before I've saved for a provari, in the long run it seems to make more sense to buy a provari than ego types that last 6 months.

Even if someone joined the site who had just won the lottery, I would recommend that they went through the starter kit / clearomiser phase before jumping on the Provari/Penelope bandwagon. I think you need to learn How to vape, What to vape, all about PG/VG, nic strength, flavour choice, VV, etc etc before you settle on what should be your final setup I agree with you Oneday, it is a very important (albeit frustrating) process to go through

I have, but not as bad as others from what I see written on the forums. Only been minor hiccups really and a lot of it was down to my attitude when I first started vaping, initially I only wanted cig-alikes and pre filled cartridges forever and so the tiniest problem and I got very frustrated. I'm a trial and error and fix it myself kind of person, but I love to learn about stuff and that's what I've enjoyed most about vaping. I'm not going anywhere now, no matter what

I wouldn't actually swap what I've bought or gone through to get this far, it's nice to have the Provari as the 'end goal', and to think by the time I actually get there, there will be a newer and better version out Same with the Penelope, this is pretty much the holy grail for some, again, by the time I've reached the stage of buying something like that, it will be better Like the saying, "you can't run before you can walk", it's true, in the past 48 hours I've actually got a vaping technique that has made a world of difference, without this, without the trial and error and learning, a Provari and Penelope would have been wasted on me!

When I win the lottery/write a bestseller/marry a rich person, I'm gonna go buy a provari and a penelope. And I will vape it while cruising through splott in my cadillac with the top down, and everyone will thing I am the tits. Are you insane?! A cadillac in Splott?! With the top down?! Holding something shiney?! Do you have a death wish?! When you run aground on one of the thousands of speed-bumps, the natives will see your shiny provari and penelope and assume that they are worth more than the houses you are driving past and swoop down on you like seagulls in chippy alley fighting the drunks for their kebabs after the clubs close. And anyway... if you win the lottery/write a bestseller/marry a rich person... why would you still be in cardiff?!

Well Takshaka, it would bring me pleasure to see the filthy plebs go green over my diamond encrusted provari. And when they pounced I would plough them down, laughing out mouthfuls of vape, my provari glinting in the splott sun....
Yes, Splott is horrible - I once owned a lovely little Piaggio liberty 125, my first ever scooter. And it got stolen in Splott. But if I won the lottery I would stay in Cardiff because then I could afford to buy one of those massive houses around Roath Park lake, which is my favouritest place in the world.
Where in Cardiff are you?

Stepped out for 5 minutes - postie left me a red card telling me to collect it on TUESDAY! What's more annoying is that postie NEVER turns up before 2pm on a regular day. Grrrr >
