Is the metal ring pushed right down in the white silicon cap end the right way up? I've had this problem and that's what it was.

Confused by this bit... If it works with the new head, you have to inspect the head causing the issue by holding it up to the light. You must be able to see the coil and wick from underneath the head. By the head, I mean the whole replaceable bit, that contains the coil/wick and silicon cap etc. The silicon cap fits on top of the coil/wick thing, in terms of seeing it, through the tank I can see the wicks on either side and the "1.8 ~" printed on the head First, does it work with another head? I do know what the head contains..

The right way is the more curved edge should be facing upwards nearest to the mouth piece and the flatter edge nearest to the wick. Make sure it's pushed right down towards the wick and level, I use a cocktail stick.

I know you know what the head is, I thought it was probably me that didn't. I took it all apart again and put it back together straightened up the inside bit under the silicone cap as that looked off centre and it's vaping fine now, have vapour and it's stopped leaking onto the battery it seems, using the same head

These things seem a bit like computers, rather than get embedded in problems, shut down and restart - I learned the hard way and almost gave up vaping, it was only the straight forward advice I got, and a rebuild that got things sorted. You only have to have one little thing off, and it can cause problems! I do not like big leaky blobs on my shiny gold battery terminals So where do you think the problem originated from, or it going to be one of those mysteries that a clean and rebuild solved? Glad you're sorted though, I think the forum needs to start a E.V.A.H.S.S - Emergency Vaping After Hours Supply Service! I'm sure all the lovely vendors on here would sponsor it

I don't know Tim, I put it back together the same as I had the 2 previous times and for the 2 previous juice changes/head changes I did last week. The bit that was slightly off centre is the only thing that was different, I wiggled that a bit....starting to dislike anything with the word "vision" in it. I know a lot of it is me not really knowing what I'm doing, but it's only vision things that cover me, my battery or the inside of my mouth in juice. Am sure I will get the hang of stuff eventually

Glad I now heard about that over tightening thing. So far my vivi has served me flawlessly!

These flippin visions.....
Mind you, I've finally got my one working OK...after all the faff, it was the juice after all. I went through 3 heads and a lot of spillage and wasted juice to figure that out. The vivi just doesn't like VR cherrywood.
Clearly the vivi is an idiot.
With the right juice and therefore no muted flavour, the vivi is actually pretty impressive.
