HC China Air Mail Suspended

So I have been waiting patiently for my 2 orders from HC now for over a month and was quite happy to wait patiently some more but now they have a notice on the site that they will no longer Ship using China Airmail to Uk due to the Olympics . Any one ordered from HC slow boat before and how long does it normally take ?

The last time I received an order, which was around 2 weeks ago, it took a month to get to me.

A month is about average for the slow boat, although even without the olympics it can stretch to five or even six weeks

I know this Olympics thing is affecting a lot of websites supplies & deliveries etc, but why? Is this something that Royal Mail have put in place? Or are the Chinese assuming that our post will be disrupted due to Olympics security measures and therefore suspending mail to Britain?

I think it's the security/customs. Remember all the hoo-hah over our last group buy?

I ordered 24th June and got it on 18th July. I have ordered by slow boat before and it took approx 3 weeks that time too..

Slow boat for me, has always been at least a 6 week wait, even without the Olympic's element.

It's a pleasant surprise when whatever does finally materialize as I've normally forgotten about it by then . . . .

I got a delivery last week which took about three weeks - mind you I'm still waiting for a little order I made a couple of days later.

I ordered from them on the 27th of july and recieved mine 3 weeks after using the slow boat which I was very pleased with I haven't ordered anything from them this month tho due to the olympics but I will be sticking another order in after the olympics
