Colofac is now available widely, Asda sell it too, I think on the shelf and at the pharmacy. It's an antispasmodic, so's it the cramps it stops rather than the diarrhea ( if you have that too ) I had it prescribed by my doctor for IBS and it works great for me but as I say it's now available without prescription. It stops the pain for me but when the pain goes so does the rest of it.
Oh and last night was the first time since I started vaping 6 weeks ago that it flared up. So vaping doesnt seem to have affected me in that way.

I've got Crohn's and IBS, and vaping doesn't seem to have affected me at all so far.
Boo, please go and see your GP, just to rule out anything nasty.

it might be the nicotine. I too have IBS symptoms (some due to scaring), and any sniff of a bug, I'm out of it, and it can take me months to get back to a normal diet, also I have to live with the "now you now how we feel", from the other half .........anyway - doctor and dietitian have all said, smoking more (which I did for the pain) makes things worse, and if I cut down, it would ease up and get better - it is true, also i was taking the usual mebravin, imodium, and I have a salt mixture similar to that of diralite. I was told to avoid ibuprofen during these times too! Just experiment, try a 100% VG flavour from, ummm Virgin Vapours (Ukecigstore) and then try a PG only, if you can get a PG only - and see if that changes anything, then try and slowly drop the nicotine level. all the best
