I won't say I'm sick of the Olympics, I was that a few weeks ago.... Now I'm just unfeeling towards it. But I will watch what I can, as much to get the kids interested in it as anything.

I don't mind that i leave for 2 weeks in Devon saturday ;-) just can't believe they would actually say it's normal when anyone driving knows it much worse than normal, which in itself is hard as driving in London is generally pony hehe

Not interested one little bit in the olympics, rather watch paint dry. But I have enjoyed watching the online torch relay in certain towns, like where my parents were born or places I used to go for holidays when I was a kid. They don't have the camera on the torch bearers all the time, they show the scenery occasionally too. Lands End and the CI were beautiful. It's boring now they're in London though.
Some of the torch bearers reasons for being chosen have been very touching.

* don't hate me for this * lol but I do find it really annoying that it's supposed to be 'UK's ' Olympic games, yet pretty much all the events are in London! They could have spread it out over the country so that more people could feel involved, what about people from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland? Seems a bit unfair really To be honest bee, most people living in & around London wish it too.......It is going to cause ( & already is ) untold disruption for 3 weeks, so spreading it about would have eased London's suffering........... P.S. If you still feel that way, I'll have a word with Boris & see if it can be arranged..............
