Hi and welcome Paul hope you get on ok with the e-lite... if you decide to buy something else be sure to go with the 510 type fitting, that way you can always upgrade easily in future

Hi Jayjay, I'm in Sittingbourne how about you?
Hi Gordy, this is probably a stupid question, but how will I know what fitting things have? Will it clearly say on the websites?

Hi Paul and #welcome2# from me too Often it will say on a website which fitting it is but brands like e-lites tend to have their own fittings so as you are locked into buying their overpriced cartos! Sorry to hear that your sister encountered problems with vapiing. You could tell her about this forum, if she joined we would maybe be able to give her some advice

Hi Paul. I started out on a V2 kit.....my thoughts........OK as an initial starter-upper. But if you're a heavy vaper, they are really not worth your while.
You might think NOW that you won't be a heavy vaper, as you were only on 10 rollies a day, but that may change once you try an awesome flavour, and also once you realise that vaping is a different beast to smoking.
I lasted two weeks on the V2, and then I got fed up of having to charge them up every hour or two, and I ordered a riva 1100 kit, which I'm much more satisfied with.
Tell you what. Before you splash out on the overly-priced V2 kit, why don't you try them first? I have two automatic batteries and one manual, and a usb charger. Want me to send them out to you? All you'd have to buy is some V2 pre-filled carties (or other brands, if they're compatible) or some V2 empty cartridges and some juice......if you don't like it, send them back, if you do like it, send me £15 or something and keep the bloody thing.

Wow! Thank you very much, such a generous offer! I don't want to offend you after such a generous offer, but I will wait and see how I get on with the e-lites first if that's ok? If all goes well and I have the battery issues I've been reading about I may well go with the Riva after all the good things you've all had to say about it. Thank you again though! This might be another silly question, but what's the difference between the Riva and Vgo things I've seen a number of sites?

That's OK, Paul. Just let me know if you fancy them. They're just knocking around in my drawer at the moment. Every time I look at them I give them a dirty look...and then promptly scoop up my egos and twist and cuddle and coo over them like kittens.
Riva has done me proud so far. Twist is also great. I mused over buying a kgo at the start too - I think they're quite similar to the egos...some say better....but I think more expensive.

Hi Paul
Warm welcome to this amazing forum, Good luck In your Quest to give up the rollies, I was a heavy smoker and like you smoked rollies, Seven days ago I tried an E-Cig and guess what? I've not had an analogue since and my taste buds and sense of smell and white teeth are all starting to come back!

I'll definitely keep it in mind, thank you again (I've never known such generosity on a forum). It definitely sounds like the Riva is the way to go, all I've got to do now is order one and decide on some flavours to try I know it's kinda wrong but I'm really looking forward to starting now, roll on next Saturday!

Paul, the VGO is similar in size to the Riva/ego, but has a 808/901 thread, so you are very limited to what you can use with it. The KGO that Booblay mentions is an American version of the Riva - well that's what some of the lovely American members on ECF told me

I would go for the Riva, if the Vgo you have been looking at is from JACVapour then it's not a 510 thread so you don't have as much choice as to what to put on the top of it
