I've been an avid watcher of VTTV and recently they've been raving about the Flavourart UK 45mg juices. In particular, DaveK has been using the 45mg BiteXtra range and having some interesting results.
It seems that the stuff is so string that your whole vaping technique changes - specifically you treat it more like a cigarette and stop chain vaping. This means less juice consumption, fewer refills and fewer battery charges.
Which seems counter-intuitive.
Just a bit of history - when I started out vaping I was on 24mg juice, but found that I could easily get signs of nic OD - racing heart, headache etc. So I cut down to 18mg or thereabouts and that problem went away, but I find myself chain vaping pretty much through my waking hours. Well, that's OK if you are just loafing around surfing the net or somesuch, but not much good if you are out and about or have something to be getting on with.

Since I've been doing a bit of mixology lately, I have some 52mg nic base, so I decided to try an experiment and make up some 40mg juice. Basically it is just base plus flavouring and a couple of drops of VG. I filled up a tank in my iMist and have been testing it out the last day or so. Results are interesting. Firstly there is a noticeable kick and quite a throat hit (even though this has no BiteXtra additive) and I find that after four or five drags I've had enough. I put the thing down for a good twenty minutes and have not needed or wanted to chain vape in between. The thing is it is so strong, that the nic craving is satisifed and any more starts to get, well, uncomfortable. I remember saying to my sis when I started that the nic hit was gentler from vaping than with cigs. It seemed to me that it took a while for the levels in the blood to get to somewhere comfortable, whereas cig smoking was much more 'spiky'. In fact it was probably that aspect of smoking that I missed the most. Well, with 45mg juice it is spiky, like with cigs. So I'm quite impressed and can see some benefit from having a stronger rather than weaker e-liquid, the only downside might be if I get a flaour I really like and accidentally go OD. Anyhoo, on the strength of my experiment, I've gone ahead and oredered a sampler kit from FlavourArtUK

I think it depends upon your vaping style/ available time Dom, I like to have an ecig in my hand at every and any opportunity, as I indeed did with tobacco, smoking 40/50 a day, so I vape relatively low strengths.
But, if I was going to be somewhere and I couldn't vape for hours, then I think there's a lot to be said for going with a higher strength juice.

Well, that's been my problem - I've had a device clamped in one hand permanently for months now. I'm starting to get a claw fist When I smoked I smoked rollies. I would take a few drags then put in the ashtray and let it go out. Ten minutes later I would spark it up again and so on until it was gone. When I smoked normal fags, mostly they burned away in the ashtray. The only time I smoked a fag end-to-end was on a fag break, and usually regretted it, so I'm thinking that higher strength juice might be the way to go for me.

I've found pretty much the same dom. Although I tend to start and end the day on slightly lower nic juice, I use a 36mg juice a lot of the time these days and I definitely get through less liquid in a day than when I started. I used to smoke cigars, so a bit hit from time to time works well for me as well. Must check out this Flavourart stuff

Found the same thing, when I first started I was on 24mg juice but found I could get the nic rush quickly so knocked it down to 18mg and was vaping all the time, I saw some 36mg 555 for sale and grabbed some and its great for when your busy or out and about and just want a quick hard hit like you'd get from a good strong rollie.
Great for when I'm out on the bike as when I pull up somewhere I can grab a cuppa and have a few quick toots and be on my way again.

I have been on the 45mg BiteXtra from Flavour Art UK for 1 week now, and I am very impressed. Without even thinking about it, I find myself just naturally vaping less, but getting more pleasure per vape.
It is great stuff, I am converted.

Morning all, I purchased some 45mg BiteXtra with double flavour (Vanilla) I do not seem to taste the Vanilla flavour but the strength is Magic a real hit, What I would like to ask you is can I add Dr Oetker's Natural extract Vanilla Essance to the 45 mg BiteXtra , I purchased it From Tesco'S If so what would be the safe amount to add . If not what could i add as I have a sweet tooth!!!! The wife says she does like the smell of vanilla around the house. Thankyou

Seems safe with alcohol, water and vanilla extract,,
I would try try adding in multiples of 5 %..Take 20 drops of the biteextra into a clean e-juice bottle and add one drop (of same size) of the vanilla essence and do a drip test vape..If unsatisfactory add another drop and so on till you find the right amount to add that suits you.

I have seen the introduction of ready to vape 45mg liquid and feel that it has a place. But I do feel it should only be recommended for experienced vapors who have a few months under there belts just like your first motorbike should not be an Yamaha R1
At 4.5% this is a very strong additive toxic liquid that needs to be handled with the same care as DIY liquid and would not be wise to use it in anything that leaks or might break in your pocket.
I also feel sites selling any e-liquid with nicotine in and more so with very strong e-liquid should place a lot more emphasis on warnings/ instructions
I still remember the only ever heart palpitations I had on my first day of vaping using 26mg in a look a like e-cigarette.

Good Point Buddy & Food for Thought, I am getting a Ego TWIST Battery 1000 mah, so hopefully I will be able to drop back to 18mg juice, Will have a peep at your site on juices, Thanks.

I totally agree, it does seem a very high amount of nicotine and needs respect whilst handling. I hope people treat this juice with respect as there is bound to be someone who`ll overdose on nicotine if they take a cavalier attitude to it. It does raise the question as to whether it is responsible to sell it this high for direct vaping. ???
