The embossed engraved ones have a very soft silicone insulator and the center pins sink very easily..5 click switch the battery off and lift the center pin up in the battery slightly using a small flat screwdriver or some such and try..
I take it the embossed ego a.k.a ego-K works with other cartos..

I never thought to lift the pin we have had to do that a few times especially on the Ego k when charging, other visions are working fine on it though.
Thanks Macca

Thanks Macca Pulling out the center pin a touch is probably the easiest solution. But when you put on another carto/vision it will sink again. If just one of visions does not work and others work, get a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the center pin on the vision ever so slightly outwards.. It's quite possible when you reassembled it that the innards were pushed in a touch higher than the original..Also check the bottom compression ring collar to make sure it is fully seated after re-assembly..Sometimes even a slight gap will cause the collar to bottom out on the ego connector shoulder preventing center pin contact..

I have two Ego T batteries (neither of them embossed) and one of them I'm constantly having to lift the pin, but the other one I don't. It's probably not coincidence that the one I don't is Joy-E branded and the other isn't.
