Getting a flavour out of a carto?

I bought and tried a flavour (capuccino) that I decided I don't like. I've tried flushing the carto out with hot water but it still smells of capuccino. Is there any way to get rid of the smell so I can use the carto for something else? Or is it doomed for the bin?

I doubt you will get rid of a taste as strong as coffee, most people just bin cartomisers cos they're so cheap

You could try a denture cleaning tablet, that may work, but generally once you put Menthol or Coffee in a carto it is permanently tainted. When testing juices you are better off using an atomiser (no wadding) or even a Vision/Rainbow as it has no wadding.

I decided to give it a go and re-filled it with menthol. There's still a coffee taste in the background but it's not so bad. Coffee and mint go pretty well together anyway.

Menthol does tend to overpower everything. Handy to add to any juice you're not too keen on

Any of my visions that have been used for menthol now have a blob of blue nailvarnish on and they are exclusively for menthol now
