I have a solar powered rechargeable DAB Radio. Do you want to charge E-cig batteries with it? If you do they are too low powered to do this in any practical time even if we do get any sun!

Yes Des, just thought that what with e-cigs, phone and kobo a solar charger could be a good back up! Probably not then

A solar charger would be ok for the Kobo, a modern phone these days has quite large capacity batteries. You can get batteries that have a solar panel on the top, if you can leave it on the windowsill or your car dashboard it will keep the battery topped up, but you'll need to leave it there for quite a while to get a meaningful charge.

I was thinking how useful that would be for recharging e cigs when out and about, the other day. I have a mobile phone solar charger, its about the size of a wallet, it has lots of connections including a usb one, so i might try it, see if it works on my e cig batteries. You can buy hand bags/ rucksacks, with solar plates on them for if you are out walking. They have a bit more power as the panels are bigger. Perhaps a hat with solar panels on it? As long as you dont mind a few funny looks

I could stock them hehe This is a picture: I believe the case has a battery which is charged and then you plug your charger into that, so like a pcc case for egos
