Pixi, you say that your throat is getting bad with the juice? Maybe you have a PG problem and it might be worth trying to get some juice that is either a 50/50 mix or even try pure VG to see if it helps?

pedaldog what's PG VG and is 50/50 a mix of the 2? PG is Propylene Glycol and VG is Vegetable Glycerine Pixi. The two main ingredients in our nicotine mixes, as well as flavourings. You'll find different Vendors stock different ratios of the two. PG is good for getting a Throat Hit, but can be quite drying and VG produces more Vapour than PG does and has a sweetness . . . hence the reason why they're very often combined to get the best of both worlds. Although you'll find that individual Vapers, have very individual preferences on their mixes . . . something you'll only discover through some, hopefully enjoyable experimentation.

Sorry Pixi, I'm already in with the "Lingo" PG is Propylene glycol and VG is vegetable Glycerine. The VG is the one you can get a plain bottle of for £1-20 at Boots and the PG is a bit harder to find. Most ready mixed liquids are a mix of the two unless they say otherwise. A few suppliers let you chose the ratio and some tell you in advance, such as 70/30 pg/vg. I know a few people get a very sore mouth and throat in the early days of vaping but have heard that it is possible to have a bit of a reaction to PG and that swapping to a different mix has helped. Grizwalds, from Vapeescape, does a great Menthol tabac if you like mint and tobacco. EDIT: The opening bit on this page explains it better than me.. www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=5

So if I get a liquid that's more vg and less pg I should feel less of a burning throat. I've been letting the vapour hit my tongue first to lessen the throat burn and that's with a 18mg carto.

You may find that adjusting your technique as well will help Pixi, rather than drawing and inhaling as you would a regular ciggie, hold the vapour in your mouth for a few seconds . . . then either take it down or exhale.

@chrissie I think you can be forgiven this time. Just don't do it again or you'll be in serious trouble young lady. Thank you Fagin & promise not to do it again
