Right I've just managed to find out the thread size of the halo ecig I've got I managed to find it on a review of that vs the 10 motives. It says it uses the RN4091 thread pattern. You can read review here if you like www.stevevape.com/uk-e-cigarette-comparison-review/ Can I get cartos to fit these batteries?

Not heard of an RN4091, so guessing they mean a RN4081. If so, then no there aren't any cartomisers available for it in the UK as far as I know. I think you can still buy 4081 atomisers & cartridges though I doubt you want to consider them.

If you want to use anything other than the RN4091 carto's that Halo would like to sell you, then I'm doubtful, as I've never seen or read about a RN4091 adapter Pixi.
The e-cigarette uses the slightly less popular RN4091 thread pattern
An understatement if he has the threading correct I'd suggest.

Typical! Next option is to open up an empty carto to see if I can refil it hopefully I can and I'll get some liquid.

Think that's your best option Pixi, use them until they're deaded and then invest in some new kit, that is genuinely popular and available.

You can refill them but the bungs are hard plastic and break after a while. I found this forum looking for replacement cartos and ended up upgrading to an Ego kit and clearomisers. No comparison.
Although for a look a like, the Halos are pretty good - decent size batteries and quality. Just a pity about the thread.

Yea I think I will - these are really irritating my throat so badly I'm preferring normal cigs! Wonder if the liquid that's pre filled just isn't for me.......

ps I tried all sorts of things to open them without breaking them and a corkscrew worked best (on my trusty Swiss Army Knife). You can twist it in and then pull the bung out straight.

Katie, I would take that review site you linked to with a pinch of salt. It's sponsored by the advertisers on the site. I'm guessing the ECS 4081 is the same as the RN4081, so this is how you can refill them (Blimey, they really have tried to make them as difficult as possible ) -

Thanks Chrissie that looks very very similar. When my carto is empty I'll get it opened up and have ago. Now all I need is a nice strong minty juice.

The Halo ones don't have all those bits inside, just the cap and a silicon washer. And they're not glued. But I couldn't get it open with a paperclip. In fact that is a very bad video. He leaves the carto on the battery, then says blow down to get the juice in properly - sure fire way to get juice in the battery if you've overfilled a bit. Take the carto off first. Then fill it. And when you're finished leave it overnight to oooze around nicely. Check there's no juice on the battery connection end. Dab with a piece of kitchen towel if there is, and blow from the connecter to clear anything in the tube.

Fagin is right & I should have pointed out it's a bad video - I should have watched it from the start before posting the link #icon_sorry# As they are auto batteries, blowing through the carto while attached to the battery is, as Fagin says "a sure fire way to get juice in the battery" & kill it.

@chrissie I think you can be forgiven this time. Just don't do it again or you'll be in serious trouble young lady.
