My kick has lost its kick.Is it dead?

Hi all,i have been using my new Legacy with the kick it came with for a few days now and its been fantastic.However,tonight its just completely lost its power and is giving a weak vape, its set at full power so i cant understand why its suddenly gone like this.Ive changed batteries,the spring is making good contact with the inside of my mod but still its vaping like its only giving me 3.7v.I can really notice the difference as im using a 3ohm Boge and the power has just gone even though the kick is still set at its highest level.Im gutted and just hope some sort of reset or fix is possible? :(Ive tried all the obvious stuff and its just not working.Has anyone else had this happen before?

is the kick pulsating? hit the button and listen to it to see
have you got a different mod to try it in?
lastly give the mod a good old clean and make sure all the contacts and threads are spotless

I cant hear any pulsating Gordy and i noticed that when it was working properly it appeared to have a 10 second cutout of some sort?When i press the fire button now it just keeps on fireing and no cutout kicks in.I will clean the mod down now but i dont think thats the cause as it was on top form all day then suddenly tonight it just died off for no apparent reason. :(Its like a KICK in the bullocks I think im going to have to ask the seller if he can help me out,a 3.7v mod is no good to me without this kick module working.I dont have another mod to try it in either as all the rest are just VVs.

i just tested mine and it didnt have a 10 second cut out... of course i cant see the computer now tho with all this vapour... cough ..cough

Cleaned the whole mod,all contact points and threads,taken switch apart and cleaned and reassembled it all and its still the same.Looks like my kick has kicked the bucket.Anyone clever wanna have a look at it for me?Im going to contact the seller first and see what he says.

Mine appeared to cut off after ten seconds when it was working properly,though i could be wrong as im new to the kick.Its as if this is working but only at its minimal level even though its set to full power.Ive become accustomed to the monster vape so obviously i noticed the sudden drop off.Ive tried all four of my AWs now which have been working fine but the vape is just staying like this....crap

have you tried changing the boge in case its giving a false reading back to the kick

Ive just put my other carto tank on the mod with a different 3ohm Boge in and the vape is just as bad,infact worse.Ive just contacted the seller Anne to ask where he got it from and about the warranty.Fingers crossed i can get this sorted out.Oh well,back to my dual 18650 tins for now so i can get a proper vape :)Bloody typical that i get my hands on a kick which dies in just a few days

A 3 ohm resistance is about the max limit that is recommended for the Kick..As cartos are used, the resistance of the coil goes higher it's quite possible that the Kick is not working as it should..

I would try it with a 2.0 to 2.5 ohm rated atty/carto/clearo as a test to see if carto resistance is the issue..

Thanks Macca,i will go and try some lower res cartos and clearos now then.If it doesnt work then im going to just have to order another i suppose as no response from the seller and it seems the warranty is non transferable anyway.

I would also try a different battery, just in case the new battery is faulty..

Ive just put on a brand new 2.ohm Boge and its vaping just like a 2ohm Boge would at 3.7v but the kick is set to max power so im still not happy that its working correctly.I have also just tried all of my four batteries again which are fully charged AWs and the vape wont pick up.Is it possible that the module has gone into some sort of protection mode?My mod still fires with the kick in but the vape im getting is exactly the same as just having a battery in without the kick,even though the kick is set to max level.Very frustrating and ive never heard of anyone else getting bother with a kick so i must just have the worst luck ever.Im going to have to get another then atleast i have a warranty,thats the only downfall of buying from the classifieds i suppose.Do you think you could revive it Macca?I only ask because i saw on UKV that someone had taken one apart to put in a mod where it wouldnt fit properly.I can only presume that some solder has come loose or some kind of short has killed it?BUT in saying that it was working brilliant and then just lost power for no reason at all.I could understand it more if i was using a genesis atomiser but ive only been using carto tanks.
