Hi guy's,
I received my lovely Provari earlier this evening and lovely it is too, but I may have a slight problem with it ?
Here and there it seems to be cutting out...I'm vaping away and then I get a loss of power for a second or two, so I release the button and then re-press the button again and it fires away again no problem.
Any ideas ?
I hope it's not faulty, as I had to wait just short of two weeks for this beauty to arrive from Provape in the States and the last thing I want to do is send it back.

The battery would be the first port of call with that problem, do you just have the one? or do you have another that suffers the same fate?

I have two of these so I'll change over the battery and see how I do.
Many Thanks.

No, no error codes.
I have just been over to the Provape site looking at their troubleshooting guides and they do mention intermittent power loss there.
They say it may be the terminals inside the unit or on the battery. To resolve it - get a long cotton bud thing and some isopropyl alcohol 99% (preffered) or 91% and clean the terminals.
There may be some manufacturing gunk or something in there so hopefully it is a simple as that.

Thanks matty and blakey.
I have found that Maplins sell the alcohol, so a trip to Maplins tomorrow...me thinks. I'll let you all know if this sorts it out.

Going to pop your thread onto the General Vaping board Harmudge, as Provari's as lovely as they are, are a bit advanced for a Beginner's Board. Hope you're able to sort your problem out.

If you keep the button pressed longer than (I think 10) seconds it automatically cuts off as a safety feature. Are you taking extra-long drags?

Just a long shot but how long are you keeping the button pressed for ? I have a V1 Provari and that has a 16 second cut out on the switch which to be honest should be long enough for any one to get a draw. Don't know if the V2's are the same though, anybody ? Edit, ninja'd by Oneday
