samstew & jax you both have such beautiful furries. I have to agree with chrissie sam V, you really should have gotten the female kitty neutered. Not just for her sake, but to lessen the ever growing amount of unwanted cats. I have stay I am really disappointed that you have let her get pregnant again so soon after her last litter. You may not like what I have said, but I'm not going to apologize for it. Personally, I think you are being totally irresponsible & with not regard for your kitty's welfare or the welfare of her kittens. Very annoyed >

I agree completely but it's near impossible to keep her in, we fitted metal blinds so that we could have the window slightly open, we kept them facing up so there was no gap but she realised she could jump up and noise dive through the plates and get to the window. Our vet told us we couldn't have her speyed til she'd stopped feeding them, by the time we did, she was pregnant.

Sam, Just keep the window shut.
It's not like we're having a heatwave exactly, is it?

You could've had her spayed as soon as the kittens were weaned & made every single effort that she didn't get out until she had been spayed.
I had to do it with a stray who came to my home with her kittens. She was desperate to get outside, but I had to be tough & keep her in.

I once underestimated the age of a kitten I had. When I took her to be spayed the vet though she was already pregnant. She still had the op The vet and I both believed that it was the best thing for her health as she was a very small cat and best as there are just not enough good homes for run of the mill BSH kittens

Why cant I see any of Sams kitty pics ? Even with the best will in the world accidents still happen guys. I doubt Sam purposely let her get pregnant again.

You could've had her spayed as soon as the kittens were weaned & made every single effort that she didn't get out until she had been spayed. We did and we tried. Can't say much more than that. Just keep the window shut. It's not like we're having a heatwave exactly, is it? There are more factors than just weather that heat up a house you know. And that's before even taking in the whole moisture/condensation and airing out issue. Maybe next time we'll just tie her up shall we? Anyways, final number was 5. We have Toby, Kanji, then Hoshi, Charlie and PuckPosted Image The last 3 are all black and white like mum, the first two are sort of tabby but with a tinge of ginge.

I'll have to think about KittyCam, the camera has now been installed in my office so I'll have to buy another.

Sam, do you have a branch of cat's Protection League near you? www.cats.org.uk/find-usthey should be able to help you find good homes for the kittens and give you advice on neutering for mum!
