Merlin's looking very spritely for his age Chris, certainly doesn't look 15!  I wonder if having young kitty's around him keeps him youthful? |

He didn't look too good a couple of months ago Perpy  He lost so much weight after having some teeth out He's been on a course of steroids & they have made such a difference to his appetite & also helped with the arthritis in his back legs Bless him, he has never batted an eyelid about all the other kitty's I've taken in |

He's a little sweetie really Chris . . . infact they both love cuddles and fussing . . . but I come away absolutely smothered in hair, then of course I get the sniff treatment from his nibs. |

She maybe 50kg now but she is still my baby.
Scooter, when we were looking for our baby we went to the council dog pound and they had one like Milly but had a really bad skin condition and they wouldn't let us have her

Sadly the breed is plagued by this and other maladies, like any pet you adopt into your home it is just another of the responsibilities to be considered, sounds like you have very thoughtful, caring council employees, kudos.
