Same here Hissie & thank you for starting it Kev, I 100% agree, dogs do need boundaries - without them, they are confused & flounder. They are pack animals so look to their human leader for guidance

Same here Hissie . . . great photo's Kev! Your Buster looks such a patient & tolerant boy. I have to confess that I'm one of those dog owners who naughtily lets them on the sofa and my bed . . . but there's a difference between a 12kg terrier & a lab, so I don't blame you for setting furniture boundaries. Sammy used to mainly sleep on his beanie of an evening . . . but he did like my bed.

He was indeed Bel, that photo wasn't staged, he actually used to come under the duvet in the winter, bad me . . . many a night I used to get up and get into the other side of bed, as he'd spread out onto my side. For a small dog, he managed to take up a lot of space when he wanted to.

Oh i can believe that, i had a cat that would go under the covers and rest his head on the pillow Lol i can just see you getting out and moving to the other side, just so you didnt have to wake Sammy and move him

well I must confess...my four are all allowed anywhere, I shared my snooze on the sofa with a huge gsd, usually have one or other or all four sleeping by, on me, but they are all really good, they get off when I want to sit where they are but usually as soon as I sit down they jump back up ;Dwouldn't want it any other way, they are the apple of my eye

Lol i can just see you getting out and moving to the other side, just so you didnt have to wake Sammy and move him I'd not have disturbed my little fella Bel. Sounds good to me your doggy sofa arrangements Sandra . . . they obviously know that you're the Pack Leader and don't get angsty when you want to take up your seat.

I let my Eppie rule the roost lol. She pretty much took over the house & was very clearly the boss. Wouldn't have had it any other way tho', although it would've been nice to have been able to introduce other pets without her completely freaking out. She had no time for other animals or other people lol. The only people who she would let get close was me, my other half & my mother
