Ohh Tizer you are clever. Yeah I knew you did get male torties but someone told me they were normally hermaphrodites they weren't very clever so I'll believe you.
That is spooky about your torti, mines is only cos for about 6 weeks or so she was The CAT, when the snow melted and she didn't go back to where she came from we spent weeks trying to decide what to call her , I have a habit of calling pets Flossie as a term of endearment generally and my Mum heard me call her that one night and the name stuck, was very confusing because for months I still called the dog Flossie so I referred to them as Flossie 1 an d 2 for a while , but she's the only one now
EDIT for posts whilst typing: Ohh Bel is clever too , have you a photie of Male tort Bel?

LOL. My Flossie-Ann was also cos I couldn't think what to call her when I got her so just used to refer to her as Flossie-Ann as a temporary name and after 2 days when I registered her at the vet I said I haven't got a proper name for her yet so stick her down as Flossie-Ann for now and I'll work on it but it kind of stuck! Could have been worse it could have been Little-Un that she got stuck with. So this is her and with her arch-nemesis Demon Cat (aka Colin)

Thats the problem with a black cat - hard to get decent photos, especially as he's not very cooperative when the camera comes out. Huge? Nope that's just some wierd illusion. At his heaviest winter weight he only gets to about 4.5kg. Although since Flossie arrived (shes only about 7 months old) he does look huge but before that he was being compared to a 35kg boxer/rottie cross and a 20+kg cocker spaniel so he was tiny then!

He and Big Dog (she was a year younger than him) had been together for 10 years when I adopted them. Then I lost Big Dog last December and of course miss her dreadfully too but Little Dog was something special.

I have 4 cats, two moggies and two Bengals. Love dogs too and very lucky that my mate (just so happens to be my neighbour too) has two dogs that I get to see every day, he has a Jack Russel and a 3 legged Springer. We can't have dogs ebcause we are out all day and I just don't think it's fair to leave them for that long. So, I have a Marble spotted white Bengal with blue eyes called Kai (we named him before that gastly footballer made the name popular by naming his child the same). We also have a leopard spotted one called Simba (kids named him, coould you guess that? ), the main man of the pride is called Marmite and his sidekick aptly named Felix, some pics: We had a fifth cat called Jasper who was the family favourite but he was hit by a car , but as you can see they all get on very very well, totally unusual for a pack of cats to be like this but they are great! When the Bengals were Kittens, do not be fooled, they were a bloody nightmare, Bengals love water and spent their time in and out of the bath, they also love high places so every curtain was torn to shreds and every high spot was reached. Thankfully they are calmer now....... not a lot but a little Kai hates men, if one goes near him he pretends he hates them and that they have presecuted him in a previous life, that is until he wants something and the result is this: Marmite is huge, this is why he is the main man but he is also a very good baby sitter

Lovely pics Global, thank you for posting them Heard the same thing from some other Bengal owners, but they are such beautiful cats. They are closer to Dog's than cats and it really depends what "F" rating they are, F1- F3 you would need a wild animal license for (not joking), ours are F4 which means they are as pure bred as I'm allowed for a domestic cat. I think that's right it's been sometime since I did all my research. Unfortunately people do look at them and think they look amazing, but they are quite regualrily re-homed because they are noisy and very strong willed. If a Bengal doesn't want to do something there is nothing you can do about it, they talk loudly all the time which is nice but it's a very unusual noise, people who come in our house for the first time look around as if to say what the blooming heck is that noise??? They are also incredibly strong animals, even our little white one cannot be held onto wrapped in a towel if he needs a tablet (this has only happened once and I was torn to shreds), the leopard one no one has a chance with, he is all muscle and knows how to use it But if you can get over the mad behaviour, the addiction to water and the noise they are awesome creatures, very loving (when they want a cuddle) and fantastic to look at prowling about in the garden.
