Thought we were going to lose the black one "Faye" earlier this year, found a lump on her belly and took her to the vets and they had her in straight away, it was big lump and went deeper than they thought so she had a tough time of it.

The first pic was taken the night we brought her home, I stayed with her through the night and she cried for every minute of it. Cookie (the chocolate one) never left her side either.

The second pic is just two days later and the difference was incredible, she was up and about and charging round wrecking the house with her big conehead.

The only time she was still was when we put an icepack on her wound to cool the inflamation, she'd lay like that for ages till the icepack got warm and then she'd bring it to us to put back in the freezer, basically she's nuts.

Fair enough, but we couldn't exactly release him into the woods, and seeing as we got him off of a woman that kept him in a Far too small converted glass fishtank, that had no temperature controll and was being underfed making him very inactive, and hardly being let out of the tank, or handled, I reckon he's better off now. I know of someone who lives where they come from, America, and he kills all snakes on site, and or his cat's do. Of course Severus would have been captive bred, not taken from the wild's.
