Afraid I wouldn't be able to negotiate storage rights for a stash that big. Had to settle for 3 x 1L bottles in the fridge. It's cool and dark (mostly) and doesn't use up too much food space.
I have been contemplating the value (or not) of a trickle of argon in the tops of open bottles. Anyone know if you could safely use welding argon?

If it helps you sleep nights, you probably did the right thing. DarkStar charges £3.95 delivery on 1L - UK Flavours is free delivery on £30+ orders. I thought UKF was free delivery on everything over £5. Did they change that? I got a litre of vg a couple of weeks ago and had no postage to pay. That's only a tenner. Sorry mods.... off topic. They're off line at the moment but I was referring to my spreadsheet, last updated 14 May. Things could've changed since then or maybe I got it wrong.

You could try a 12% dissy code at Darkstar: DS-VHB. Worked for me earlier this month. Doesn't work I'm afraid on Nic Base puffingbilly , I'd imagine that it was also disabled after the 20th last week . . . . it does on concentrates however, although it's a Facebook group specific code. Just checked it myself and, unfortunately, you're correct. Worth a try though.

Thanks chykensa , I was going to buy some nail polish but I'll try sellotape first as I've already got that I use sellotape on my syringes. A word to the wise though, If the tape finishes up in the wrong position, don't pull it off again - it'll take the markings off with it. I use BD Plastipak syringes with the black rubber piston seal on the plunger. Try to avoid the Discardit range (no piston seal).

ACTUALLY I need to revise this costing, I have seen some indicative prices from vendors now and we are looking at between £1.50 and £2.00 per 10ml 20mg. Totally Wicked have 10ml bottles on their site for £4.24 Of course you need to add P&P to the above At least this is better news than I predicted Thanks for that DD. Assuming they wil retail only at 18mg, it still looks a bit eye-watering at the equivalent of £800 per litre for what we can get at the moment for £50. As mentioned earlier, what are we going to do with all those 10mL bottles? Ideas on a postcard, please!

The significant difference in costs are another issue . . . . . . . If DiscoDes's prediction turns out to be anything like correct then that means nicotine-base will cost £500 per litre (£5/10mL) at 18mg/mL so that's equivalent to £2,000 per litre at the current 72mg/mL. I don't think "significant" is the word I would use! Glad I got my supplies in.

I priced it out in THIS THREADTo make 100ml before the TPD £6.72 To make 100ml post TPD £14.85 So there is over 100% increase in cost And your costing was for juice at only 3mg/mL Think about the cost for those, like me, who mix at 12 mg/mL or more. That'll be a juice which is 2/3 or more nicotine-base at 18mg/mL. Will there be any room for flavour?

Hi all,
Just to introduce myself, I've been reading the forum for a year or two and have picked up a few tips along the way but, with the coming of the apocalypse (TPD), thought it might be a good time to register.
As adult-lifelong smokers, we've been vaping for a couple of years now, on and off, but decided to go for it last year during "Stoptober". We still smoke tobacco on high days and holidays; we find that something to "look forward to" helps keep us on the straight and narrow between times.
We vape about 10mL per day between us and make our own simple recipes at around 14mg/mL nicotine - 20% of 72mg/mL - in our e-juice. We mainly use flavours from Cupcake World plus menthol concentrate (10%) which we make from crystals. Our favourites we make in 100mL batches now and experimentals in 10 - 20mL needle bottles. I sometimes think I might have been an alchemist in a prevoius existence.
Recently had a couple of nice little deals for nicotine from DarkStar - thanks to the forum's suggestions and dissy codes - so now have 3 litres of 72mg stock or about four years at our current usage rate. We're planning to slowly reduce the nic content of our juices so this should last us for quite a while longer if all goes according to that plan.
Well, that's about it for now, really, except to say that I've probably got more questions than answers for the forum. See you there.
