Thanks Jason - I'm really impressed with how quickly you got my order to me. You've been very helpful and it's great to have this good an experience as a new buyer. Very glad to know I don't have to charge them all that time - hubby is fighting me for the one I'm vaping on. I'll let him have a shot on the other one now  |

Just got my new Riva. Thanks to very helpful peeps here I am joyfully vaping on the spare battery until the main one charges.
It says to charge it for 8 hours, then vape for 20mins and then charge for another hour. I'll do that, but wondered if it makes a time difference if I'm charging it through the usb hub via my computer, or through the usb hub plugged into a wall charger?

No joy - tried putting the other battery together with the clearomiser and pressed the button, but nothing lit up and no vape ??? Oh well, half 9 tonight I can have my first 20min vape and then charge it for another hour and then good to go, apparently |

Yay, thanks to Jason cos I got my Riva today! I have the first battery charging and can't wait to get vaping on it Now to figure out how much to put into the Vision Ego Clearomiser - it says to add up to 1.6 ml, but it appears to be marked up to 6ml ??? Edited to Add: Silly eyesight! It says 1.6 after all :-[ Sorted! |

Little bit of a cough and some phlegm  today. Drinking plenty of fluid so hopefully will get rid of it soon. Been vaping for a week and not had a fag since Wed (and that was only the one). Still feeling very proud of myself Some of the research I've done mentioned vapers getting a bit funny on some cleaning products. Went on a bit of a manic cleaning spree in my kitchen this morning to get the smoking grunge off the tiles - perhaps that's why vapers get the vapours...they clean madly at first |

Oh, I see! I drink loads of fluid, but might have been a bit on the low side right enough. I have difficulty figuring out when to fill up my cartos - I only notice when there's no puff

Well, I've ordered a Riva 1100. Today I told the nurse doing my blood test that I was a non-smoker - that felt quite good  Having a bit of a dry throat today but I'm putting that down to stopping the analogues and getting used to vaping instead.  |

Hi Quezz. I'm new to vaping too and I read your story with interest. I didn't expect to give up the cigs at all, but have without any qualms. I haven't told anyone apart from the two shopkeepers who usually sell my cigs!
It sounds like you're doing the right things, but there are bound to be ups and downs - it's helpful to me to know how others are doing and our experiences will help other newbies in future. This seems like the right place to learn and vent and make new buddies.

I think those who don't know their way around forums or even using the internet to do some research do expect too much. My friend recently got an e-cig via a coupon in a newspaper and said it was really great. This was what first got me interested (coupled with another increase in fag prices). I did some research (not quite enough  ) and found out a bit more. I think my friend expects her two wee cigalikes to last forever. I'm going to point her in the right direction for more info  |

Cheers m'dears! I smoked 20-25 menthols @ 0.7mg nicotine. I never had a cough as such, just a wheeze. I already am much less wheezy, so that's a bonus I didn't think I'd want to upgrade so quickly, but I know I don't want to go back to 'real' fags with the cost, smell and decorating costs |

Just wondering how long after stopping the analogues am I likely to start coughing all the carp from my lungs? I'm down to 2 analogues today, so that's one tomorrow and then I'm done with them. Didn't think I could ever be free of them, never mind within 5 days! I'm already fed up with the short battery life of my www.liberro.co.uk/e-cigarette-starter-packs/realis-ultra-realistic-electronic-cigarette-starter-pack, and with hubby having snaffled my spare they don't last long! Reckon with all the good advice on here I should go for the next rung on the ladder. Do you reckon I should go with the Riva 1100 or the Riva-T Tank?
